酒店不錯，但是攜程過分，花了300多美金預訂的房間，安排在最糟糕的房型，陽台外面是個很大的露台（留下餐廳的屋頂），所以二樓的陽台，即便酒店力海邊很近，壓根看不到海邊風景，衹能遠遠看到遠處的一點點海水。酒店説是攜程給的價格很低，所以是這種房型，但是實際上攜程賣出來的價格這麼貴。

This is our 4th year at Riu Arecas We won't book anywhere else now! It's a beautiful hotel with hard working welcoming staff . Busy hotel but it's always very clean Rooms are large basic ,yes dated but they are very spacious and once again always cleaned to high spec by the maids Last year we were upgraded to a pool view and we were so so greatful for the reception staff to do this ! Fantastic Value for money, drinks are reasonably priced ,ice creams,pool bar etc.all very good prices. Pool area is very large and clean but can get busy .Pool bar staff are very good and helpful. Overall service is 100% Staff go above and beyond. We Look Forward to returning on the 21st September 2026 !!! Miss Hayley Walters + Mr Neil Eggleton

Second visit to this hotel and sadly we won’t rush back as standards have considerately declined. The hotel is in need of a full renovation, furniture in our room was tired, stained, scratched with the drawers unstable. Cleaning staff woke us every day, early mornings so no chance of a lie in on holiday! To be fair our room was cleaned to a fashion daily. We paid for half board and found the food to be tepid as it’s cooked in the back kitchen and doesn’t retain its temperature. Quality of meals very disappointing being served cooked carrots and green beans for breakfast is not what most people would expect of a 4 star hotel. When we spoke to local bars they advised us they were busy with hotel guests eating there as the hotel had been bought out by a German company who were cutting corners to save money! Queues to enter the buffet style restaurant were large and the other restaurant at the hotel was closed during our visit hence we ate out. The lower infinity pool bar was closed for most of our stay potentially as the weather was hit and miss, however the sun loungers are stained, worn and uncomfortable. I mentioned the food quality at reception and the blonde lady shrugged her shoulders! Entertainment was as mentioned in previous reviews tailored to over 70s Overall a very poor experience

My husband and I booked this last minute 10 night holiday here, it was “ on special” with Tui. We arrived late and we were really surprised to find that a cold meal had been prepared and left for us in the restaurant with a bottle of water. It was greatly appreciated. Our room was really lovely, very clean and with a nice unexpected sea view. The hotel is immaculately clean and the gardens and pool areas are kept really well. The main restaurant is very very busy at both breakfast and evening meal. The food is very good, lots of choices and show cooking. The staff are attentive and usually friendly! This hotel is very big with lots of guests but we still found it very quiet and peaceful and relaxing. We got sun beds easily every day despite the early morning rush to reserve the best spots. Our room maid kept our room spotless with little finishing touches which was really nice. There are a lot of steps to climb when you are out and about, but we are an elderly couple and managed ok. There are walks either side of the hotel, our favourite walk was to the right of the hotel to the fishing village, we had an amazing seafood lunch there at La Caleta restaurant. We didn’t sample the evening entertainment in the hotel but it was always busy. There was only one thing that we didn’t like. TUI described the hotel as totally non smoking in all areas. This is simply not true. The smokers have their own stinky designated area and when they all congregate the wafting cigarette smoke is disgusting. There were occasions where people were smoking and vaping around the pool despite the no smoking rule.

Second time at this hotel adults only. First thing that hits you is the friendliness of staff. Feels like you’ve come to a much smaller family home. Food has improved over the past year and if you like fresh fish and seafood particularly Wednesday and Thursday then you’re in for a treat. Always cleaning hotel is spotless. Visit La Caleta 20 min walk up the coast. There is a lack of bars for a drink, but if you go left back towards Del duque area couple down there nice and chilled. All in all lovely place and we will return. Special mention in the bar area for Wilson Franco and Salvo. Andrew and Ivan on reception and Joaquim in the restaurant all a credit to this hotel.

Adult only hotel. 2 lovely swimming pools and a beach club with a smaller infinity pool. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Rooms spacious, and l great shower room. we had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool which was lovely for us. Buffet breakfast & dinner offered a wide selection of delicious dishes, different roast meat each day, Italian dishes, seafoods, grills & salads. Half board basis but you can have snack/lunch for approx €8 .live music in the evening which finishes about 2230-2300. Next door hotel Tivoli has the most amazing restaurant ‘Seen’ , for a special occasion. It’s as cheap to hire a car for 2 days, rather than a taxi to and from the airport. This hotel is about 20 minutes from airport. 5 min walk to beach and promenade and a supermarket We will be back!

We are currently sitting at the hotel awaiting our transfer home, this is the 2nd time we have w stayed in a Riu ( 1st time was in Mexico) and I have to be honest they will be my ‘go to’ from now on. All staff were excellent, food was great, room was great, reception staff are exceptional! So helpful! Would highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back at some point. Well done Riu , and of course Arecas!!

This hotel is great if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is about 25min walk to the main bars and restaurants or a taxi for around €6. If you need a taxi ask at reception and they will gladly order you one. The atmosphere at the hotel is really quiet. It could do with some sort of entertainment at the pool. Maybe some music playing over speakers. The evening entertainment wasn’t the best if I’m honest. The food is great. Plenty of choice for breakfast and lunch. We didn’t have dinner there so I can’t comment on that. The value is great for what we paid. I’d go back to this hotel.

Beautifully clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Buffet has a very wide choice of foods, all fresh and delicious.

We had a pleasant stay overall, with many things to like about this hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, and it’s a great base for exploring Tenerife. The property is beautifully maintained with plenty of greenery, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel offers two swimming pools, and guests can also use a third pool at the nearby sister property, which is a nice bonus. The food was consistently good, everything was very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There were, however, a few disappointing aspects. We were surprised to find out that drinks during dinner are not included and must be paid for, as this wasn’t mentioned to us during check-in. The soundproofing is also very poor. We were woken up at 4 a.m. by guests talking loudly in the hallway, and unfortunately we didn’t sleep well because noise travels easily through the hotel. The beds were also firmer than we would have liked. Another downside was the spa closing at 6 p.m., which felt quite early for guests who spend the day sightseeing. Finally, although reserving sunbeds is officially not allowed, many guests did it anyway, and the staff didn’t seem to enforce the rule, making it difficult to find available loungers later in the morning. Overall, this is a clean, well-located hotel with excellent service and good food, but improvements to noise insulation and enforcing the sunbed policy would make the experience even better.

What a lovely hotel, I would struggle to find anything negative to write The food was great, plenty of choice and very fresh, staff were very friendly, the rooms were nice a big the pools were amazing, lovely and warm, entertainment was very good, the cleanliness was the best I’ve encountered Would not hesitate to return

This was my first adults only holiday and it was amazing. There are no activities at the hotel, which was absolutely fine, but there are a whole load of the most beautiful shopping centres and eateries in very close proximity and some lovely walks to be had. There is an amazing market a short walk away a couple of days a week. The hotel itself was great, couldn't fault it. Great atmosphere, the rooms were lovely, the beds were very comfortable (most important), it was spotlessly clean, the food was wonderful, the staff were great, loads of sunbeds and the private beach and pools are amazing. I have never gone back to the same hotel twice in all my life but I will definitely be going back to this one!

Amazing food, great staff, and a wonderful stay! We had a fantastic time at the Hotel Riu Arecas. The food throughout our stay was absolutely amazing with a great variety of delicious options. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming, but a special shoutout goes to Roberto on reception. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. The pools were amazing and lovely and warm! Great location on Playa del Duque. The excellent service at this hotel, combined with the relaxing adults-only atmosphere, made our mini break absolutely perfect. We highly recommend this hotel and have already booked to return in September!

First time going to Tenerife as we always have done Turkey, hotel recommended by our travel agent who has been to Tenerife several times. Honestly, this hotel is fantastic, rooms are very clean, spacious bathroom and a great pool area, bar staff can't help you enough, gym is decent, we used it four times while staying at the hotel. Food, wow, its some of the nicest food we have had in any country, amazing choice with tasty meats and fish every night, breakfast has a range of options, omelet freshly made, fruit as much as you like and yogurt, washed down with prosecco. Staff so friendly. My only gripe is the location, if you don't mind walking its great but anyone who struggles with mobility, its not the best. Overall its still a fantastic hotel, highly recommended
