ルレ & シャトー シャトー デ アブニエール(Chateau des Avenieres - Relais & Chateaux)

We stayed here for one night to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The Manager greeted us by the Suite and was so nice and kind, lovely chatting with him. We had a lovely suite overlooking Annecy lake and Mont Blanc Mountain with the most lovely terrace. The Suite was spotless so clean and tidy with a large bathroom lovely towels and amenities even bath salts and a perfume sample. Kitchen, fireplace and huge super comfortable bed. Reception was very helpful to all our needs. Breakfast was small and lovely with a lovely view of the fields and pool area. Most recommended in all ways. I have only the best things to say about this amazing hotel. Thank you very much.

This place deserves more than five stars. If I can give it 100 I would. I only wish that I found this place sooner, I would’ve booked an additional two nights instead of staying in Geneva. Our hotel in Geneva was the same price, and piled in comparison to the IMPECCABLE service and quality we’ve experienced here. We love the Sonade Suite! The balcony parlour was an added surprise! it was foggy during our stay, but it would’ve been a fantastic breakfast at the Sun been out. So we decided to take breakfast downstairs. Make sure to book a dinner reservation here we had a four course meal, and it was divine! There is also a boutique, fitness center, and a steam room. The staff at this Château, was incredible. Every single guest we’ve encountered at this hotel was super happy to be here. It’s literally an enchanted place!!!

Magnificent castle dated from 1907 with unique and exclusive 12 room. Immaculate gardens with a breathtaking view (including Mont Blanc),; indoors is decorated accordingly. You can visit the old chapel. We were given an upgrade (our anniversary) and stayed at the Ducs room: modern clean decor with beautiful antique floors and fireplace and super high ceilings, including the bathroom (indescribably beautiful). We had everything we needed: coffee machine, safe, robes, etc. we had dinner at our the “M des Avenieres”, the restaurant in the castle with Michelin ratings - it was very good. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and attention to details. To summarize, a Royal experience!

Great location of the Relais Chateaux de Vernieres, overlooking Annecy, the place is marvelous and located on the top a hill, sourrouded by by a large park. excellent and spacious rooms, with all you desire. A place to relax and enjoy. Dinner at the chateux is very good in one of the restaurant, very nicely decoreted. A shame that employees, even being very frindly and attentive, hadd to relay to Owner to make the order, thus conclude with a long waiting time. Breakfast is well dotated and with large offer of dishes. All over the hotel is very clean, and gives a warm welcom

There are no dining options in this hotel on mondays and tuesdays. This is not clear on the website or on booking sites. there was no proactive help from the hotel to book an alternative in a local village. For a major hotel charging high end prices not to have food options available for guests is a bit of a joke.

We stumbled on this hidden gem en route to Geneva. We booked a suite for a family which was away from the main hotel we used the car a walk to the main hotel with small children would be possible but tricky. The staff were superb, the food in the restaurant exquisite, the food for the children sublime. Yes it’s expensive but it was worth it. The only thing the hotel lacks is a pool. We would definitely head back there.

Excellent service, beautiful room and surroundings and could not have been more pleased with my visit.

This chateaux, hotel was a fairytale! Looked like a castle, interior was classic, 16 century feel. If you are a mountain bike fan, the hotel provides electric bikes for use and the biking trail around the hotel are breathtaking! Breakfast was really good. Everything was sooo good.

The disappointment was that we expected to stay in the chateau not the modern annexe cutely named the squirrels house. I suspect we didn’t pay enough attention when we booked and actually it was fantastic - a suite with a splendid view towards the lake , clean, modern very comfortable! Dinner was very good - the menu was a little minted but the food was excellent quality and the service good. Breakfast was excellent with the nice addition of a plate of gooey French toast - I’ve stayed in hundreds of French hugely and this is not the norm- it was lovely comfort food!
