ホテル フェレ クスコ(Hotel Ferre Cusco)

We were on a tour and this is the hotel they put us in. The positive of this hotel is the staff was friendly The hotel is located in the commercial area where you can parts for your car, anything you need for your house, etc. The room was small and had bare amenities . There was nothing around the hotel and you had to take a cab to go anywhere. Breakfast was horrible and never started on time. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Hard time judging this hotel. I would up giving it an "average" rating because while the hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly, there are some heavy drawbacks that would make me consider staying somewhere else. First, the positive is that the hotel and rooms were very clean. No complaints there. Water in shower was good temp and pressure. Staff was very friendly. The negatives are that the location of the hotel is kind of weird. It's in an industrial area with really not much around other than tire shops. I happened to find a couple of very small almost take out restaurants nearby, but if you don't have a car, be prepared to walk. I walked it alone at night and had no issues, so it's not a bad area..just "unpleasant" to a visitor. Second negative is the breakfast...it was pretty bad. Very basic. Eggs tasted very dry. Last negative is the lobby could use a re-model. It's just not very appealing at all. For a short stay where you are going to be out most of the day and only using the hotel to sleep, it's fine. Just don't expect much. If you are coming in from out of town (like on a tour), pay the extra money and stay closer to the historical area.

This a bare bones hotel, situated on a commercial street. The included bkfst was minimal. There isn’t even a cup in bathroom. Room though small was v clean. Shower was fine with plenty of hot water. Bed was fine. To get to restaurants and the main plaza was easy costing less then$2.00US. Front desk staff was what made the stay OK. This hotel was chosen by the tour operator and is the perfect example of you get what you pay for.
