Kurumi Hostel

Este hostel es posiblemente el mejor por su precio. Es atendido por gente sumamente amable y respetuosa. Nos brindaron una excelente atención durante nuestra estadía. El precio, más bajo que otros, incluye un desayuno modesto. Cuentan con servicio de lavandería. Lo único incomodo son las camas, que podrían mejorar. Me tocó una almohada especialmente dura. Por fuera de eso, es un lugar al que volvería con gusto.

Encontramos esta opción de alojamiento. Porque únicamente queríamos pasar la noche ya que no estaríamos en el hotel si no en los tours por los atractivos del cuzco y alrededores. Pero me sorprendió el trato tan afectuosos de la encargada responsable Marilus creo que eso se llevó un 100 . Estuvo muy al pendiente de nosotros y nos dio una habitacion solo para nosotros y muy cómoda. El desayuno es básico pero bueno

Empecé mí búsqueda en Cuzco por este hostel. Era el que estaba más alejado y en subida. El encargado me quiso convencer que el checkout a las 9am era lo normal y que las habitaciones de 10 camas no estaban permitidas. Me molestaron algunos detalles. El lugar parecía desierto, la cama era muy incómoda y con frazadas pequeñas y pesadas. No tiene cocina.

Con mi esposa tomamos una habitación doble, la más básica, con baño compartido. Tuvimos inconvenientes con las camas pues se sentía las tuercas de los colchones. El cuarto que nos dieron penetraba mucho el frío. La ubicación de nuestra habitación fue en el segundo piso. El piso al ser de madera rechinaba mucho. Fue incómodo para nosotros pues escuchábamos los ruidos durante la noche. La ubicación en relación de distancia con la plaza es muy buena, sin embargo, la calle del hotel se encuentra en una loma empinada. El personal del hotel fue cordial y dispuesto a ayudar con lo que se necesitará. El desayuno incluido es básico. Dos panes, mantequilla y mermelada. Café o alguna infusión y agua de papaya.

Probably the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The room was beyond cold. The floor was made of stone which made it colder. I used my sleeping bag liner to add some warmth. Also slept in my long underwear, coat, and hat! Each room opened to the outdoors which means the shared bath was outside. Someone said they were changing to a private bath but decided against it when the room smelt like sewage. There was a sign during breakfast about eggs as well as ham and cheese. I thought that was included. It was not. After a disagreement, the lady in charge called *********** and cancelled my reservation without my approval. I decided it was worth me losing a small amount of money and move hotels for my sanity.

Just 5 min upwards from Plaza de Armas there is this nice, simple and very familar hostel in Cuszo. Indeed the nights can be very cold at 3000m so remember before you book a room with shared bathroom, you need to go outside at night if you need to go to the toilette. We got some extra blankets immediately as we asked for them at our arrival. Our 2-bed-room was nice and clean, the roomservice cleaned up every day. The small. garden with a pavilion and hammock was the best place to take little brake. The hostel is all in all in a very quiet location. No party-people or traffic around. The street is very small and steep, so if you order a tour it is possible, that the bus can not pick you up in front of the hotel, but either at the plaza 2min above the hostel or at the Paza de Armas. Place notice, the following is quiet typical for Perú, so it's definitely not a negative recommendation, just for some international travellers to notice: Breakfast is simple compared to some other nations. There was coffee, tea, typical peruvian buns, strawberry jam and butter and omelette, if you ask for it. That's it. It is possible that when you want to shower, there is no warm water. That's not that unusual, wait for later or the next morning, when the water tank is refilled again.
