A real gem of a place with Izzie and Peter being perfect hosts. Exmoor House is immaculately clean with attention to detail including a silent mini fridge in the room containing complimentary fresh milk, orange juice and water. The property has a guest lounge with pool table and mini bar, there is a pub and restaurant directly opposite too. Breakfast was sublime with fresh local produce perfectly cooked (just look at the double yoker eggs!). Highly recommended and excellent value.

Highly recommended accommodation. Spotless rooms comfy beds. Izzy and Pete go the extra mile. Rooms spacious with all the extras. Fridge with water,milk and orange juice. Great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Room extras included where chocolates biscuits toiletries. Breakfast couldn't be faulted great selection for everyone's taste. Nice quiet position with fabulous views. Visit you won't be disappointed. We will be back very soon.

Exmoore House offers a great welcome and a comfortable base at Wheddon Cross - a great spot from which to explore Exmoor or the coast. The owners were incredibly helpful, and everything was fresh and clean. The room was well set-up and comfortable. Breakfast needed to be ordered the night before, but had a decent selction for a small place. The B&B is right beside the crossroads in the centre of Wheddon Cross. That means there is some traffic noise, particularly with the windows open. It didn't bother me at all - didn't hear any in the night - but a nice touch was the provided ear plugs. There is good off-road parking, and the pub over the road offers meals - as do others, which you'd need to drive to. You could walk to Dunkery Beacon if you were eager, but a drive and then a walk is less strenuous!

Absolutely perfect in every way! We booked for two nights and stayed for three. The house is beautifully cared for, exceptionally clean and very tranquil. Peter and Izzy were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming, always happy to chat and help out with local information or directions. Breakfast was superb with a great choice of options. If you're looking to explore the area around Exmoor you won't find anywhere better to stay. We will be back.

We have travelled the world, stayed in lots of hotels but never have we received such a warm welcome than we did from Izzy and Peter. Nothing was too much trouble for Izzy. The whole hotel is immaculate and the breakfast outstanding. Peter presents the food in such a delightful way. We highly recommend staying at their beautiful bed and breakfast. Lovely place to stay - just outside Minehead and Dunstar. Good off street parking. Beautifully decorated bedroom & generous size bathroom. Very clean and also thoughtfully prepared for their guests. Choice of teas and coffees, biscuits, chocolates, milk and water in the fridge. Small touches like a makeup remover flannel inc with the towels. USB charger points by the bed. Comfy large double bed. Use of lounge for the guests. Good Wi-Fi. Warm genuine welcome by the owners on arrival. 5 of us in total staying and we all said the same. Would recommend.

We were made to feel so welcome at Exmoor House, owned by a lovely couple and nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness of the rooms was spot-on, absolutely nothing to fault. Bed was comfortable with white linen bedding and towels. Special touches like chocolates and even a 'make-up remover' flannel! Peaceful sleep followed by a delicious breakfast (and plenty of it!) An ideal base for the sights of Exmoor and good value. The pub across the road did lovely food and reasonable too Take a walk up Dunkery Beacon nearby for distant views.

Had a very warm welcome from the owners. Room was very comfortable and spotless with lovely little extra touches making it a home from home, including a mining fridge which you don't always get but it a great added bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choices so very good value for money. Would definitely recommend thank you!

What a lovely B & B Exmoor House is. The hosts Izzy and Peter are warm, friendly and welcoming. Our rooms and the reception areas were absolutely spotless, full of lots of little touches to make a visitor comfortable. Good choices for breakfast and beautifully prepared and presented. Positioned in a great central area to visit Exmoor. I greatly look forward to another visit.
