Best hotel inside shuanglang ancient town, convenient location, great breakfast with beautiful Er Hai view and comfortable room, highly recommend👍🏻👍🏻

By far my best experience in China (* ´ ▽ ` *) I would have given a 10-star rating if I could! 1. Location: Walking distance to everything. 1-200 meters to ancient town main street. 2. Facilities: The homestay is locates right by the Erhai lake with wonderful view throughout the day. I stayed in a room without direct lake view but there is a restaurant and lobby with very nice decoration where we took a lot of lake photos. The common scenic spot on 3F is unique and very beautiful. I got a free photoshoot by professional photographer also, he's really nice and quick-witted. We had some very nice photos. The room is clean and well-maintained (I got free upgraded to a bigger room, assumed becuz of the off-season). We had everything we need. Open the window and the room is always full of fresh air, there is a window net to prevent insects in place. The breakfast included in room fare was a big nice surprise also. The preparation looked wholehearted, the food was fresh and like a mini buffet, simple yet sumptious. I don't think we can get something like that at outside restaurants for under 100y/pax. 3. Customer service: The BEST part of this facilities. The staff (Xiao Yang, Xiao Zhi, Pei jie) are so friendly, patient and always went out and beyond their way to make the guests feel comfortable: - They called 1 day ahead of the stay to confirm details and even helped me book local carpooling to save money - They helped me take the luggage from car drop-off to hotel (a short walk as the homestay is located within the ancient town, car cannot go in) - They answered literally every request in very fast manner - Nice little F&B freebies are soooooo nice Totally 5-star hotel service at a local homestay 😂 Shuanglang itself is a very chill and relaxing place to visit in Dali, wonderful for people who like to wander and enjoy the view. But the experience at this homestay made it 10 times better for me and my husband. Would definitely recommend to friends and come back if I visit Shuanglang again. 在中国住过最棒的一次民宿 (* ´ ▽ ` *) 如果能打10星我一定毫不犹豫！ 1. 地理位置： 走路去哪儿都方便，离双廊古镇主街只有一两百米，超级近！ 2. 设施环境： 民宿就在洱海边上，一整天都有超赞的湖景。虽然我住的房间不是正对湖景，但餐厅和大厅的装修很有氛围，我们在那拍了好多洱海美照。 三楼的公共观景台也很特别，真的很美！还有专业摄影师免费帮我们拍照，人超好又机灵，照片效果很棒～ 房间干净又维护得很好（可能因为淡季还免费升级了大房间，赚到了）。该有的都有，窗户一开就是新鲜空气，还有纱窗防蚊虫，贴心！ 房价里包含的早餐也是惊喜，看得出是用心准备的，食材新鲜，像个迷你自助餐，简单却丰盛。外面餐厅要吃到这种水平估计得100块/人以上了。 3. 服务体验： 最最最加分的就是服务！小杨、小志、沛姐人都超好，耐心又热情，真的把客人当朋友照顾： 入住前一天就打电话确认，还帮我订了当地拼车，省了不少钱 到了之后还帮我从停车点把行李搬到民宿（因为古镇里车进不去） 有求必应，回复速度超快 还有各种小吃小饮料免费送，太贴心了！ 简直是五星级酒店的服务标准，在地道民宿里体验到了 😂 双廊本身就是个很适合放松、随便走走看看风景的地方。但这次住在这家民宿，让我和老公的旅程幸福感直接翻十倍！强烈推荐给朋友们～下次来双廊一定还住这里！

The hotel does look exactly what you see in the pictures. One of the best view you can ever expect in the area. If you are visiting the area, chilling in the hotel doing nothing is the best option. The view in the hotel is out of this world

Excellent view! Sunset was beautiful. Sunrise on rooftop was heavenly. highly recommend.

This is probably one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again.
