Very convenient location outside shuanglang ancient town. It's uphill but they will shuttle you back and forth. Greatly positioned to explore the area. Very kind people and very clean place as well! They helped us to snap some pictures also.

The location is great — it’s right inside Shuanglang Ancient Town. Breakfast is simple yet satisfying. We could see Erhai Lake directly from our room, which was wonderful, especially waking up to such a beautiful view. We stayed for one night, which was just nice for exploring the small town and enjoying its peaceful, simple charm. We truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely miss this lovely place!

First time being in Dali and we moved over to Shuanglang (双廊) from Dali Gucheng (大理古城) to explore the east side of Erhai. The location is about a 5-10min walk from Shuanglang Guzhen's South Entrance （双廊古镇南门口）. However, the place is located on top of a hill. Hence, we needed to contact the butler (管家/客服) to chauffeur us from below to the place or vice versa when we needed to head out. While there's no lift, the butler was also really helpful to carry our luggage up and down the apartment. See pictures for reference of the view of our room - really beautiful. Our room is fairly clean, with house cleaning everyday. Just a thing to note is there's no area to hang your clothes in the shower area 😅 In terms of service, they were really nice and helpful! Chauffeuring us up and down each time we went out~ just fyi, there's cooked breakfast at the pantry every morning! Not going to lie, it was a proper meal (a bowl of mixian noodles, with cut fruits and a boiled egg). For foreign guests like myself who don't have a local Chinese number, you can contact them via WeChat. Ps: if you're planning to travel around the cities, feel free to ask them if they can get discounted rides for you. Otherwise calling Didi (ride hailing service) or checking local tours can be helpful :)

We had a great stay here. The hotel is very clean and nicely designed. Cars cannot go in directly, but the friendly host came with his caddy to pick us up and send us back during check-in and check-out. It was very helpful as we had luggage. The location is good, a short walk to the ancient town. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay!
