Mint House Dallas - Victory Park

The noise from the freeway is terrible. It kept me awake all night. This is not a premium property, don’t stay here. The view is great but that does not make up for the noise. I had to stay here 5 days a d on the first day asked for a refund for the remaining nights and they would not give that to me.

I am extremely disappointed by my experience with this establishment. I had a reservation booked well in advance, but due to a sudden medical emergency, I was unable to make it. While I fully understand that plans can sometimes need to be adjusted at the last minute, what I did not expect was the complete lack of empathy or assistance from the management. When I reached out to explain the situation, I was met with zero flexibility, and no effort was made to help me reschedule or offer any sort of understanding. It was incredibly frustrating to feel like my health concerns were dismissed in favor of rigid policies. For a business that claims to prioritize customer service, this was beyond disappointing. In the midst of a difficult time, the last thing I needed was to feel like I was being penalized for something entirely out of my control. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to consider whether this is the type of establishment they want to support, especially if unexpected circumstances arise

The GUILD “invention” essentially gets a block of condo’s in tony locations. Rents them out like a luxury hotel but with little luxury. Charges more than Air BnB and has no experienced personnel to help you; we talked to inexperienced 7 different people in person and on the phone and online, with little or no hotel training. Nice people but hotel stupid. FRUSTRATING!!! Check in and parking took well over an hour. And Guild charged as much as ZA-ZA, our go to Dallas venue. Mediocre linens, furniture, and without service one expects north of $300/night (hidden charges added)! IT IS NO BARGAIN! Yes, the views and location were impressive. But if you’re used to four or five stars, buckle up for a FAKE AIR BNB, 3 stars minus at best, with your money going to MR. Guild Corporation, and not to gracious helpful hosts and hostesses like on AirBnB. Expect Guild to sell to a dot com and fail within a year.
