Why we were safe and comfortable on the property our review is in relation to the condition of the property the deterioration of the property and the neglect as evidenced with the cleaning staff and maintenance staff.. The first things we noticed while walking through the halls and eagerly looking through the windows passing by is alot of dust and cobwebs.. After entering our room 3rd floor far west side.. We were presented with more dust, hair in the bathroom grease on the bathroom ceiling.. The dressing mirror in our room again full of dust and someone previously drew a picture in the dust.. The exterior balcony while providing a view of the marina and the boat docks and allowing us to see the sunset the balcony railing is loose and dry rotted.. A condition we evidenced is multiple areas.. Later the two of us began searching for reviews and this condition is reported by most other guests for the past two years..

This was our second visit. It’s pet friendly and right next to the Marina. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the guests. We will definitely return.

A cute hotel located right at the Dana point Harbor with great views of the harbor, and a nice outdoor pool and hot tub. The location was great. The hotel itself is a little old looking and could really use a remodel room were nice. The beds were not extremely comfortable, but my only real complaint was that the walls were very thin and you could hear your neighbors and definitely people above you walking around in their rooms. The staff were very friendly, especially the woman who I assume was the manager at the front desk. we really enjoyed walking around the harbor where there were great restaurants and even an area where you could watch the seals sunbathing.

a was **** smell, the ac was making so much noise, the comforters were duty, the bathtub very duty i just didn't take a shower,

Good place to stay. Lots of rain when we were there, no power Tuesday morning, so we left early to find coffee.

It's nice to walk around the harbor and look at the boats. They keep it very clean. The walls have not been insulated so if you have a noisy neighbor it can get loud. I have asked for a room change a couple of times and the staff was very helpful and understanding. My only disappointment is their breakfast. They always had a wonderful mix of egg and continental covering almost anything you would want. Now it is basically a waffle and cereal breakfast. For me I consider a egg and bacon breakfast as a $20 reduction in the cost of the room. Always a bargain hunter! But it is still a bargain price and great location.

Nice place to stay in a convenient, off the busy highway location. Older and could use some updates and deep cleaning, but it was just right for our trip. Breakfast could use more protein options. Staff were very friendly.

Spacious, great location, has 2 sinks which is nice, nice flat screen tv, patio, good view of the harbor, great customer service, pretty comfortable bed especially for a man 6’3.
