Elegant Hotel

Amazing place to stay, views of sunset and sunrise from the room. Fortunate to get the President room and was big in size but main benefit was the 360 degree view simply stunning. Hotel staff great. Food was tailored more Western style however was great quality. It was nice to be a few miles out of the chaos of Kandy and would love to return one day, Great stay.

This is one of the best-serviced hotels we've stayed in. We felt very welcome from the start. We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room, which was spacious and offered a great view from the balcony. The outdoor area, including a clean and inviting pool, was well-maintained. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, perfect for enjoying both sunsets and sunrises. The restaurant was charming, with outstanding food and service, and the live band in the evening added a nice touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even better. Breakfast was delicious, and it was a treat to start the day in the beautiful garden. We highly recommend staying at this hotel if you're in the Kandy area! We were very impressed with this accommodation. A very nice team, which gave us a great evening there. The food there is incredibly delicious. And the view from the roof terrace is breathtaking. So we highly can recommend this hotel on the hills near Kandy.

What a amazing location. Set high on the hill top the views are breathtakingly beautiful. We were upgraded to the Presidential room so had a 360 view of the sunrise and sunset. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are all so polite and helpful. On our last evening the chef prepared a delicious Sri Lanka curry. Mouth watering. Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every second. Will definitely will come back. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The owner built this property and his pride is reflected in the attitude and care taken by staff, which is fantastic. For example, we we asked about posting postcards, and they just took them to the nearest post office for us by tuk tuk. Food is simple but beautifully prepared, and dinner is accompanied by local musicians. We stayed in the Presidential suite which has views of both sunrise and sunset in the hill country. We both had a massage here which was excellent and good value. The setting is relaxing but away from the bustle of Kandy, although close enough for a day tour of this interesting city which the hotel can arrange at a good price.

The place was lovely, We were upgraded to the president suite by the super helpful staff. The views off both balconies were fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. They hired a scooter for us and had it delivered and collected for us at no extra cost. The food was great and the pool and gardens were a treat with fantastic views. Would recommend to friends and families.

This place is a sanctuary in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A perfect relaxing getaway. The staff were so accommodating to all my needs & the service was so hospitable and welcoming. The food was incredible - I loved the traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Presidential suite was superb & had beautiful panoramic views of the mountains. Magical stay. Airport transfer was comfortable. Everything was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at this hidden gem with our family of 4 during a rainy period. The hotel and garden are beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. It’s located outside of the city, which we really liked because it was peaceful. The personnel of this hotel were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, more than enough food. We had dinner once in the restaurant and recommend to try the Sri Lanka curry. My oldest son, my husband and I had a very relaxing afternoon getting a spa treatment from Madu. This lady has golden hands. This place is definitely worth a visit.

2 night stay when visiting Kandy to experience the Perahera festival. This hotel was a strong family favourite, we had a Presidential Suite and it was a great room with Dual Aspect views. Lots of space, very easy to sleep 4 and no tripping over ourselves. Great big bathroom, super roomy shower. Space to sit either on the private balcony or on chairs outside the room, both with lovely district greenery countryside views. Ate dinner on the first night, very good food. Lots of choice. Sat outside near the pool, lovely ambience and no trouble with any flies/mossies. Breakfast we choose to sit on the restaurant terrace to have a different aspect and be slightly out of the sun/heat. Breakfast was served, lots of options, plenty of food is brought out. Sri Lankan style comes as standard along with eggs whichever way you choose. Pool - great size, children really liked it although did say they thought it was over chlorinated as it tingled on their skin. But a perfect addition to fill a morning/afternoon which was the only down time we had. Great base to then explore Kandy from. As it was Perahera festival time the city was super busy so it was nice to get away from that chaos. If you are travelling there on your own, I would say it could be tricky to find, it's a long way up a hill of very windy narrow roads, worth it though. Amazing cool drink and towel on arrival. Not overly busy when we were there so not sure if it would feel different if full? Saying that the rooms are well spaced so it's not like you would feel on top of each other. Staff super friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. One lady kindly rushed to us as we were leaving with a shirt my husband had forgotten he'd left in the wardrobe. Highly recommend if you are toying with visiting Kandy.
