The only reason we travelled to this area was to attend a family wedding close by. Le Calm is a lovely modern upgrade of a traditional farmhouse. There's ample free parking outside the code controlled electric gate.Our room was beautiful, a jacuzzi style bath, and a separate shower, all spotlessly clean. A small fridge is included. There's original features/beams throughout. Breakfast is a delight, everything you could wish for when it comes to a continental breakfast all laid out in the lower level dining room for when you wake. Jean-Jaques is a perfect host. There is a pool outside that looks perfect, due to time restraints on the good day and poor weather on the others, we didn't take advantage of it. The only disappointment we had was that due to a lack of a/c in the bedroom we left the window, next to the bed, open all night. The mosquitoes ate me alive, 26 bites on my back alone, 10 on my right arm, my wife was covered up so had several but not as bad. We bought spray, closed the window and zapped the lot. Our last night was peaceful and bite free. If we returned here, we would definitely consider Le Calm again.
