Magnolia Hotel Denver, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in this price range. The internet connection was terrible. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were completely incompetent; I had already paid the deposit during check-in that afternoon, but since no room was available at the time, they demanded I pay the deposit *again* when I returned in the evening. They threatened to have security forcibly remove me if I refused, without even bothering to investigate the issue themselves—showing them my bank payment records was useless. Since it was late and I didn't want the hassle of arguing, I just paid the deposit again to get a room. It wasn't until the next morning that I realized they had booked two rooms for me—no wonder they wanted two deposits. Even more absurdly, when I tried to be helpful and point out the extra booking, they actually asked me to pay the room rate for that second room as well! It was completely ridiculous. I also ran into another guest who had been assigned a room that was already occupied; suffice it to say, this place is one to avoid.

beautiful city view with two large windows, superb location and friendly staffs. I love the fruit  flavoured water they provided.  But there's a lot of ash on bedside tables. And very loud alarm from police  car and ambulance in the midnight woke me up several times.

We stayed here for just the evening. We walked to the baseball game and back. It was a quick stay and did not spend much time in our room. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, the check in was smooth and easy. I was able to get signed up for the Marriott membership.

前台態度特別好，十一點多來，登記了一下萬豪白板會員，沒收early check in fee，還給我升到了套間，大得不得了，街景非常好。美中不足的就是二樓臨街的房間，週末晚上有炸街的摩託，旁邊小火車也挺吵，十二點鐘才消停。

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I did not love was there is no bathroom in the main lobby. It was downstairs and through a not so lit up area. Otherwise 5 Stars. The little coffee shop outside the lobby is very nice.

The staff are fantastic. We arrived hours before check in, but Marisol was terrific. She offered to pre-check us in and store our luggage if we wanted to go out. She said she would call when our room was ready, which she did as promised. When we arrived back, she took the time to review our VIP perks, inform us of the complimentary coffee in the morning and cookies and milk at night, which if you stay there, definitely take advantage of both. The room was clean, except for the bedside bench could use a once over with a steamer, and the oddly stained cushion could be replaced. Overall we would stay again.

Samantha was very helpful as well as the rest of your staff. I definitely will stay here again.

The check in itself was over 25 minutes just waiting in a line of about 15 people. Super slow moving and staff didn’t seem to care about inconveniencing everyone waiting. The room itself smelled muggy and stayed that way the whole time. The bench at the end of the bed was dirty and stained it had someone’s long dark hair in several spots which is gross. The desk was dirty and dusty like it was wiped with a dry paper towel and nothing else. The bathroom sink was scuffed up all over and had water marks on the counter and more hair. All in all definitely won’t be staying here again and definitely not worth $218 a night. Super disappointed with this stay. Be warned of the mugginess and dirty desks, and bedroom furniture.
