Limelight Hotel Denver

Nice hotel, a little busy at reception. Good location, very close to station and restaurants

Stayed here for Valentine’s Day and the evening was fantastic. The morning after though not so much- Had breakfast at the restaurant attached (AJAX?) and when my wife asked for another cup of coffee, we were reminded that we were not the only ones having breakfast. As we were leaving, the valet pulled up my truck only to find out that one of the valet had been using it as their hangout spot the night before- USB cord moved to enable access to the touchscreen, seat readjusted, etc.com The hotel was great. The amenities, not so much.

The hotel smelled really bad maybe from the restaurant? Almost like bad brócoli and staff wasn’t very friendly. However the rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and very beautiful.

Our had a loud noise from the AC. It wakes you up at night. Housekeeping very poor, they made the bed but not the sofa bed and tell us we had to request it. Absurd. Water and coffee just the first day. No refilling. Breakfast limited, not good quality and opens very late. No more room service before our first experience.

Our air conditioning didn’t work in our room and even though we set it at the lowest temperature, it remained at 75 degrees all night. At 12:30, we were roasting but didn’t want to wake our kids to go to the front desk and what would even be done about it at that point? Bummer- we have stayed at the Limelight probably 30 times and have always loved it

Can't say enough about Limelight Hotel! First, the hotel itself is beautiful -- gorgeous wood detailing, spacious hallways with tall ceilings, clean, a very popular DIY coffee/espresso machine in the lobby, etc. The staff, though, they really made it a special visit. We were there for one night to celebrate our 8YO son's birthday -- we had just gotten off a 32-hour train ride from Sacramento to Denver, and we requested a room with a view of Union Station (he's obsessed with trains). Not only did they deliver with a beautiful view on the top floor, but they also surprised us with a few treats for the birthday boy -- a stuffed animal he'll treasure for years to come and a bucket full of drinks to enjoy. Simple but so thoughtful! Thank YOU Limelight staff!! If we're ever in Denver again, we know exactly where we'll book :)

The limelight Hotel in Downtown Denver fraudulently charged my credit card for Mini bar items that were not used or taken by myself or my sister. At check-in I specifically asked the clerk if we could have items removed from the Minibar because we would not be using their mini bar and only needed someone to bring us a refrigerator instead. The clerk advised us to move the items out, and use the refrigerator for our personal items, then at the end of our stay we could move the items back into the mini bar. After check-out, I checked my folio to see that the Limelight hotel charged me an excessive amount of money for mini bar items that we did not take or use. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card, and ensuring that I give negative reviews for the Limelight hotel in Downtown Denver, on every social platform. Note: A Google search returns more reviews of the Limelight hotel fraudulently charging guests for mini bar items, so this seems to be a pattern.

We had an amazing stay at the Limelight Denver. The hotel was very welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the staff was great. We were even able to check in early, which made everything so much easier after traveling. The room was clean, comfortable, and the view was beautiful. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!
