Once you enter the village you will see the hotel at the right. Field view room is just construction view as everywhere is undergoing construction. Mountain view block by other building. Best view is go out to the cafe facing the lake. Breakfast simple but only start at 8.30am which is late if you want to start out early. Nice that they have tub for foot bath. Bad is that water is limited to 2 bottles only. Must pay RMB 5 for 1 bottle. All other minsu I stayed in China provides unlimited water. The hot water tank they provide has a funny taste. Maybe all this is because of the location.

Super nice location, just right at the entrance of lower Yubeng and beside the popular cafe/restaurant Elimwood. Nearest to the entrance of the sacred waterfall and sacred lake trial as well. You’d be at the heart at everything exciting when you stay here. If you take the Mountain View room, the amazing sunrise and sunset is just out your window, though there’s some construction outside currently. Cute kittens to accompany you in the lobby. If you are here during winter, be careful on the last flight of stairs to the accommodation. It’s metal so it gets icy and slippery especially in the mornings. Also, the house on the first floor is someone’s home, so don’t make the same mistake as us and go into their home uninvited :) The accommodations is right there when you finish climbing the short flight of stairs!

Incredible view and lovely, warm room! No wifi when we were there (due to nearby construction apparently), bathroom had a mild but noticeable sewerage smell but provided crampons and gaiters free of charge!

The location is perfect. The hotel faces the snow mountain and you can view it from your room if you choose the mountain-facing room. We were upgraded to the room with a view for free since there was a room available. The young man at the front desk was very attentive and friendly. He recommended us attractions, restaurants, and provided us with the support we needed. He even gave us a cough medicine on our way out because he heard us coughing. Definitely recommend this place if you’re planning to stay in Lower Yubeng.

The location is great at lower yubeng village. The view is amazing. Their service are excellent especially the manager Mr Tang whom gave me lots of advices and help. Highly recommend to stay here. However the hotel is made of wood so noise insulation is a bit weak.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent location in Lower Yubeng. Close to lots of great restaurants in town and both the waterfall and glacial lake hikes are an easy distance from this hotel. The facilities are excellent and the breakfast was very tasty. The staff was wonderfully helpful and helped us arrange group transport from Shangri-La to Ninong were the hike in begins. Highly recommend.

Very good view up here. You can spend time with your loved one.

Very comfortable stay and helpful staff

This was such a lovely hotel! The wooden carving was so beautiful and the rooms were lovely and cosy. We initially booked one of the rooms in the main lobby area and they were fantastic. The shower was hot and dependable and there was a nice view out the window. The price point is also great, as it definitely feels like one of Yubengs higher and hotels in a great location, but without a huge price tag. There are many cool restaurants surrounding the hotel, and in my opinion, lower Yubeng is the better village to stay at, especially if you are trekking in from ninong. For our final night we upgraded to the mountain view suite. Yes, you can see the mountain better but the room is actually worse than the downstairs rooms, as well as being more expensive. I think the downstairs rooms are far superior. The boss was also nice and helpful, as well as going out of her way to lend us hiking gear. Great hotel.
