At the junction of Yunnan and Tibet, where the holy snow of Meili Snow Mountain passionately embraces the warm sunshine at 41° North Latitude, the Zichen Boyue · Meili Ice Wine Manor lies hidden in this dreamlike realm. Here, ice wine serves as a bond connecting natural romance and humanistic warmth, and a code to touch the senses and hearts of guests.
As you step into the manor, a strong European atmosphere mingled with ancient charm (rushes toward you). Stone walls and vaulted ceilings are engraved with the (patterns) of time, exuding the mellow (flavor) of history. When you look up, Meili Snow Mountain outlines a magnificent contour against the sky, while the greenery of the vineyard at your feet spreads freely, like a flowing landscape painting. Melting snowwater from the mountains flows gently, nourishing every grapevine and laying a unique flavor foreshadowing for ice wine brewing.
The manor's guest rooms are microcosmic display spaces for ice wine culture. From murals depicting vineyard scenery on the walls, to wine-tasting classics placed by the bedside, and delicate ice wine utensils, everything exudes the unique charm of ice wine culture. In the morning, you wake up leisurely amid the rustling of grape leaves and the magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains, breathing fresh air and starting a vibrant day.
The manor is not only the birthplace of ice wine but also an ideal place for leisure and vacation. Stroll through the vineyard, pick plump grapes with your own hands, and experience the joy of harvest; hold a picnic on the outdoor lawn and spend warm moments with relatives and friends; release energy in the gym or sweat freely on the tennis court. At night, gather around the campfire, gaze at the starry sky, listen to the whispers of the snow-capped mountains, and immerse yourself in a cozy atmosphere.
Zichen Boyue · Meili Ice Wine Manor is a deep integration of nature and culture, and a sensory feast. We look forward to your arrival to jointly compose your own ice wine legend.

ゲゲストPricey but everything is high quality down to the free mini bar drinks. The design is highly beautiful and thoughtful.
Its restaurant was one of the best meals I had in Yunnan, snd breakfast was good as well.
It is only 18 rooms giving the hotel a very relaxed atmosphere. Location is quite remote, which is great in that case. I have seen others in the area and was more than happy with this part to look at the mountains.
All is founded in very helpful staff that went the extra mile.
The windows could be cleaned better to give one room for improvement 😉
LLinda PuiJust to make it clear that the location of this hotel is not at the Meili Viewing Platform. You need to walk around 10 minutes to reach the platform to watch Meili at sunrise. The mountain that is in the background of the hotel is Baima mountain.
Having said that, we loved our stay at this hotel. The cabin was nicely decorated and equipped with all amenities. We loved the bathroom! The heater was working well in the cold weather.
The uncle was lovely. It was a bit hard for us to conmunicate what we wanted as we don't speak Chinese but through Wechat translation he was able to arrange a car (shared trip) to Mingyong Glacier and a private transfer back to Shangri La for us. The auntie at the breakfast was also lovely and welcoming, trying to chat with us all the time.
One thing to note is that aroud the area there are a lot of construction sites (there is one opposite the hotel), so it can be dusty and noisy at times. Please check with the hotel about the construction if it is still ongoing during the time you want to visit.
All in all, I highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cabin experience (with sky window!) away from the busy area. However, you won't see Meili from the hotel's windows.
