Faraway Mountain

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and nicely decorated. The pool is very clean and the whole resort is well maintained. Staff are very attentive. Good quality Chinese evening meal and breakfast.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted as we parked our car in front of the hotel. The level of service continued to be extremely warm and friendly to the point of departure when they checked the road for us to leave. The location rating is more subjective. It’s very convenient as a base to explore Moganshan and doesn’t have the access complications of staying up on top of the mountain or the hustle and bustle of being in the town which gets a lot of traffic congestion. We enjoyed the seclusion and having a car it was ideal. The room was cosy with a good AC, quality accessories and a reasonable view, all appropriate for a 4 star hotel. We really liked the living and lounging areas around the grounds, where you can relax and read in seclusion. The swimming pool was perfect. Breakfast was a set menu and acceptable. Overall we felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Big thanks to the staff who did everything to make our stay pleasurable.

Very impressive services, and decent decorations with books everywhere - they even have a private reading room. Soundproofing not very well but overall facilities are great and clean, well maintained after so many years opened.

Great service, great management, great home cooked meals. Outside hotel doesnt have much going on, but its nice and away from the city noise. Most definitely coming back.

Very beautiful hotel in a stunning location the service is 10/10. The staff are very attentive and take very good care of you. They greet you at your car with umbrellas when it’s raining and carry your luggage into the hotel. They stored our drinks in the main fridges and served them to us in the pool with snacks and ice buckets.

Great boutique inn. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and decorated to feel warm and cozy. Highly recommended.

Such an awesome experience at cozy, tranquil and super warm place! Unexpected high quality and “family kind” service, delicious food, help at all levels (we did lots activities around so staff was very helpful to get car, tickets etc) and bedroom/environment cleanness were just impressive. Highly recommend as for short stay as well for long vacation, with family or solo - it will be definitely enjoyable staycation.
