Convenient location next to Wells Fargo where we went for a concert. Lots of food options within walking distance. Free parking. Free breakfast which was good.

The team there was actually great. But this location needs an update. First off the smell. Thankfully I wasn't there much but my room had a very odd smell. The lobby had a different old snell. It was like old water. Just nasty smelling. I roughed it though it but regret it. The overall condition is poor. The wallpaper has big gashes sratch marks and is falling apart. All doors are scuffed and chipped. Carpets stained. Paint peeling off the trash cans in lobby. With just a bit of attention it would be great. You can tell the bathtub in my room was poorly replaced. It had like air bubbles under it. The team there kept it clean but you can tell its needs a makeover. The smell was the worst.

Very nice place. The pool was clean and enjoyable, room was clean and offered what we needed. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would prefer not to stay here again. We ended up just leaving during the next of our second night. The pool was half full. The walls of hotel looked to be falling apart. I our windows were super dirty we couldn't see out of them. The breakfast tasted old/stale.

Staff was extremely friendly. Plenty of parking. Room was a good size and clean. Convenient restaurants. Top of my list for Des Moines!

After a long trip we had access to parking, the elevator, complimentary snacks and it was very relaxing!

We've stayed here twice now both times for a get away for me and my fiance. This place has a great location. The staff are super friendly and the place is well kept. We will be staying here again.

The building is an older building that I have stayed before so I can understand the older building aspect of size and design. Staff was amazing during a blizzard and very accomodating. The main set backs to the hotel is the advertised amenities of laundry with now laundry for guests to use and vending machines which were nice but on the 6th floor advertised $1.50 for items and got charged $2.00, which the vending machine contractor should change. Front desk referred me to the vendors number but number was not helpful in getting my my $0.50 back, I think they count on people putting much effort into getting their $0.50 they were robbed of back.
