We were a 3 generation family, party of 5 adults + 3 kids (1,3,5), booked for a 3 night stay. We enjoyed the hotel very much - breakfast buffet, comfortable rooms, pools, beach, kids room & teens room. However, on the 2nd day, our 5 year old grandson had a bicycle accident!
Rebecca, the assistant front office manager and her team were excellent! A few of the staff jumped in quickly to provide first aid and sent my son and grandson to the clinic. They were concerned, and checked in on us frequently, offering help. Unfortunately my grandson had to return to Singapore for surgery, so we decided to cut short our stay at the hotel.
The hotel management was understanding and very kindly returned the upgrade charges for the 3rd night since we had to return a day earlier. They were willing to give us a full refund for the 3rd night however since we had booked through Trip.com, the refund approval depends on Trip.com.
The hotel is helping us communicate with Trip.com regarding the refund. I hope it will be granted.
