Nice hotel, we stayed in room above lobby. All you could hear was the sliding doors opening and sitting all the time.

Our team stayed here for the state varsity hockey tournament. The staff and accommodations couldn't have been better. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was hot and delicious and staff was exceptional. The team was able to utlize the meeting room right off the breakfast area and it worked so well for team and family get togethers pre and post games! I will remember this experience fondly and am happy the Holiday Inn Express played a role.

We had to sit in the lobby for an hour and a half before our room was ready. Check in is at 3, we got to our room at 4:30. Hot tub was out of service, Pool slide was closed, and that was the main reason we choae that hotel over the others. Would not stay again.

Everything was very nice, except the pool was ice cold!!

We arrived at 3 when the check in was supposed to be and had to wait almost 2 hours for them to clean rooms before we could even get in. The hot tub was broken, they closed the slide before the hours stated they closed so my kids were unable to play. The lady at the front desk was very dismissive and rude.

We were in Brookings SD for a youth event at the Swiftel Center. Location was great for walking distance, breakfast was ok. The biggest disappointment was the water slide. It was only open on Friday and Saturday nights. We were there M-S so kids were not able to use water slide. With such a big youth event the hotel should have made accommodations for a lifeguard to be on duty for operating of the water slide during the week.

Our room was above the entrance of the hotel, and could constantly hear the entrance door opening and closing (214).

Attending a meeting in Brookings and chose this hotel. It is located conveniently just off the interstate. The hotel lobby was clean and the front desk staff member was very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet , clean, and comfortable. The jacuzzi made for the perfect end for the day. I will stay here again. Travel safe...

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was good. The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating is the fact the pool slide was not open during the week (only open on weekends) and we were there during the week. It was the main reason we choose this hotel. The hot tub was also closed. We had a whole day to fill and planned on spending most of that time enjoying the hottub, pool and the slide, but we didn't use it at all the second day, only spent a couple of hours the first night in the pool and hottub.
