Very cozy hotel located on the River Main (had a great view) in the Old Town with good restaurants and bars nearby. Good value with nice breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff and front desk. About a 15-minute walk from train station.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel as part of our Romantic Road trip. We booked on line with the hotel directly 1 1/2 months prior to arrival and requested for a room with a view. Unfortunately, upon arrival in the hotel at around 15.30 hrs we were given a room facing the back road. The girl at the counter insisted on several occasions that no other rooms were available until a few minutes later she came to our room and offered a move to a room with a view. It was well worth the trouble as it makes such a difference to look out to the river and castle on top of the hill. The rooms themselves look recently renovated and are very comfortable. There is a split air con unit which makes for a comfortable room climate during the hot summer days. Both windows facing the road and river can be fully opened and there are electric black out blinds and drapes. The windows are fully soundproof and we slept very comfortably. The beds are 2 singles pushed together in the usual German style. The bathroom is small with a shower, wash basin and toilet. Although very compact, everything works. The water pressure is strong and there is liquid soap and shampoo in dispensers. There is a big flat screen TV with a lot of German and International channels, a fully stocked mini bar, in room safe and 2 USB charging points at the desk. A Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee pods is also available. Breakfast is the usual spread of German breads and bread rolls, cold meat and cheese, cereals and scrambled eggs. We had a very comfortable stay and I would have rated the hotel as excellent if not for the hick up with the location of the view. The gentleman with beard who checked us out was very friendly. We came by car and left our vehicle in the public car park just across the road from the hotel. Overnight parking is Euro 19.00 per day and there is no discount for hotel guests. My suggestion would be to make rooms with a view bookable at a higher price and have a guaranteed reservation for this room type.

This hotel had beautiful views and is within walking distance to the train station as well as many attractions. We will try and stay there on our next trip to Wurzburg!! The breakfast is fresh with plenty of options. They stored our bags for us after check out for a while so we could visit the residenz

I love this hotel. I had a fantastic view of the river. The room was clean with nice amenities;coffee, refrigerator soap, showed cap... The staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great location to explore the city, clean rooms, good breakfast. When we were locked out of our rooms, the owner promptly came to our assistance even though the staff had already gone home for the day. Amazing service indeed! 10/10 will recommend.

Ein Garni Hotel in sehr guter Lage in Würzburg. Fußläufig kann man alles gut erreichen. Wir hatten die „Suite“ (Zimmer 2). Das ist in dem Fall einfach ein Hotelzimmer mit einem zweiten Raum mit Ausziehcouch. Den Begriff „Suite“ in Hotels kenne ich anders. Großes Bad mit Fenster aber alles einfach eingerichtet. Das Mobiliar ist definitiv in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war sauber. Die Klimaanlage im Hauptraum bläst genau ins Bett. Ein No go. Aber positiv: Es gibt eine. Fenster offen lassen ist schwierig wegen dem Lärm der Nachtschwärmer. Kein Mainblick. Das man in die „Suite“ nur mit Durchquerung des Frühstücksraums kommt, ist alles andere als schön. Womit ein Garni Hotel punkten kann ist das Frühstück. Das Buffet war durchaus gut bestückt. Es gab auch Rührei. Bei Nachfrage nach gebratenem Bacon dazu kam als Rückmeldung „Das haben wir ja noch nie gehabt“. Das mag jeder selbst bewerten. Ich finde es schwach bei einem aufgerufenem Übernachtungspreis von 196€. In der großzügigen Dusche war der Seifen-Shampoo-Spender nicht gefüllt, was man leider erst merkte wenn man nass unter der Dusche steht. Das Personal war nicht wirklich unfreundlich aber definitiv nicht serviceorientiert. Es ist darauf orientiert, das alles am Buffet aufgefüllt ist. Das funktioniert. Der Service am Gast ist schwach bis nicht vorhanden. Sehr unaufmerksam. Ich würde stark vermuten, dass es sich nicht um ausgebildetes Fachpersonal (Hotelfach) handelt. An der Rezeption kam beim Checkout auch nicht die sonst übliche Frage, ob alles gepasst hat. Die Antwort, die ich gegeben hätte, kann man hier nachlesen. Fazit: Sehr gute Lage, für das Gebotene in dem Fall zu teuer.

Gut, die Zimmer mit Mainblick liegen an einer Strasse - insoweit kann man selbst entscheiden - schöner Blick oder Ruhe. Alles ist sehr modern, das Personal sehr freundlich, die Servicezeiten etwas eingeschränkt, aber es gibt einen Check In/Out- Automaten. Parken ist etwas komplexer, aber zum Be-/Entladen kann man vor dem Hotel parken. Frühstück ist von 7-10 Uhr und beinhaltet alles was man braucht. Für einen Konferenzbesuch perfekte Lage, sehr zentral zur Innenstadt. Trotz langer Vorlaufzeit hat man sich sogar an den alten Buchungspreis gehalten. Vorbildlich.

Tolle Lage am Mainufer mit super Service am Empfang und beim Frühstück. Ins Zentrum sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Gute Tipps fürs Parken und für Gastronomie. Am Mainufer mit kurzen Wegen in die Stadt bzw. zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Großes Zimmer mit Minibar und Kaffee-/Teezubereiter sowie großen Fenstern mit Außenjalousie. Das Bad und die Dusche sind klein. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit ausführlichen Erklärungen zu Park-, Ausflugs- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Mehrmals wurde nachgefragt, ob alles passt oder etwas fehlt. Immer sehr nett und nicht aufdringlich. Einfach perfekt. Kleines aber feines Frühstück. Gemessen an den drei Sternen sehr gut. freundliches und helles Ambiente im Frühstücksraum. Man wird sehr nett bedient. Ist sehr nett und bietet mehr als "nur" 3 Sterne.
