Absolutely perfect sunset location - the beachfront location is beautiful. Lovely chilled out hotel which never felt busy - service was great. Worth upgrading for beach view for sure….the rooms are simple but nicely done although on the small side so have to be clever with large suitcase storage.

The property is in a very exclusive spot. As soon as you walk into the hotel an amazing view of the beach. The room was cold the staff was really nice. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We really enjoyed our days here! Terrific location, nice terrace, super yummy restaurant, great spa and everyone is super nice. Breakfast and lunch are totally worth it, as well as booking a treatment in the spa. Sunsets in the terrace and easy access to Cala Saona are amazing. Only cons I would say is that rooms would benefit from an upgrade. Will definitely go back!

I love the place, the service, and facilities

They advertise themselves as a luxury hotel but they aren’t even close to it. Having stayed at actual 4 star hotels in this price range it is entirely too expensive for what is offered. While the hotel does have a beautiful view of the beach- it is not a private beach nor do they have sun beds or umbrellas on the beach that belong to the resort.- you’d think this is a beach resort so they have some beach front that is theirs but no that’s not what happens here. Instead you can rent them from some men that walk up and down the little beach $10 euros for the bed and $10 for the umbrella. The hotel provides you with two cards which you can exchange for beach/pool towels you can only get one towel per person per day and in the room closet there is an umbrella. The rooms are small, our room had a desk chair that was all frayed and has seen better days, as well as bathrobes that seem old and dingy looking I wouldn’t even touch them. The tiles at the room entrance had stains all over and clearly aren’t maintained. The bathroom door in our room didn’t open all the way and would screech on the floor. Basic amenities such as hand soap, tissues and body lotion aren’t made available in the room! The path to the beach has a boardwalk with some missing planks. Reception was helping us get information for renting a car and then in the middle of that stopped to do something for another guest completely ignoring us when she was in the middle of helping us- unprofessional in my opinion. Good things about the hotel- drinks and breakfast were good, overpriced drinks but still good that’s about it. I honestly feel robbed/lied to having stayed here. If you’re looking for a beach luxury relaxing resort this isn’t it. They have all the potential to be what they advertise but as you notice details throughout your stay it’s like they aren’t even trying.

The hotel itself is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is superb, right by the beach, in a setting that is difficult to beat. Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday.

Amazing - spectacular location overlooking Cala Saona! Very friendly staff; sunset drinks and a DJ at the Tiki Beach! And lovely rooms - we will be back!

Amazing location! right on the beautiful beach. Food was expensive but probably no more expensive than the rest of the island in peak season. The sunset is as good as the reviews say it is!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Hope to come back next year!
