ザ シレン ホテル(The Siren Hotel)

酒店非常小，但是很有特色

The staff was simply wonderful, from the doorman to the gentleman at the front desk (who also acted very much like a concierge) to the waitresses in the Ash Bar and the Candy Bar. The atmosphere and decor are distinctive, charming, and so wonderfully different from chain hotels. The food in the Ash Bar was impressively delicious; based on one meal, it ranks with top restaurants. Absolutely top notch!

Close proximity and walking to all the sporting arenas, which is why we were there. The room itself is incredibly tiny, so much so that you had almost no room to even walk around the bed. I also feel that for the price, amenities were lacking and the room is basically a matchbox. You got wifi included and that’s about it.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. While the rooms are small, the price is good for the Detroit area. The hotel bar is really nice and the drinks are amazing. The hotel is filled with really nice antique items which adds to the atmosphere. Only complaint would be how low to the ground the bed is.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this boutique for one night. We were able to do early checkin and were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting energy. The staff was probably the best experience I’ve had at a hotel. We loved how quaint it was and inviting. We had to call the front desk twice because of a temperature issue and something we forgot. They were prompt and took care of what we needed in a timely matter. I have already recommended this hotel to others and will definitely stay there again in the future!

Loved the vibe! Only complaints were the mattress (not very comfy) and really only having valet parking - perhaps there was another option, but my boyfriend and I didn’t see one. Other than those two things, we really enjoyed our stay!

While the location is nice, I would look elsewhere. We stayed New Years weekend so with that comes a heftier price tag ($320/1 night) but I thought I had pretty standard expectations that this hotel failed to meet. I expected small, but the lights didn’t even work in the room. Turning off the heat on the thermostat did not change that it was so uncomfortably hot and the temperature did not turn down. The elevators were both down, I know it goes up to a 10th floor, possibly 13 if I recall right. The bar was also closed. I dreaded the stay so much that we didn’t sleep, we packed up and left at 4 am. Not that we would’ve slept much because the noise from people right outside would’ve made it impossible even if the temperature and lights would’ve worked correctly. Also valet costs over $40, you can park down the street for the night for $14 just an fyi.

Wonderful place to stay! My partner and I stayed for one night. We loved that there were 3 bars and 1 restaurant on the property. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed and pillows were were very comfy! We will stay again !

The elevators were broken. Our first room key didn’t work. We were moved to another room and those keys did not work. The third time we had keys that did work. It was very frustrating. On the bright side the staff was friendly and worked hard to correct issues. Very disappointed that as expensive as our room was, so many things were broken.
