Beautiful little hotel, in a nice safe neighborhood, lovely breakfasts in the morning with coffee and yummy fruit juice, and easy access to old town Quito. Hernan, the owner was great--he personally spoke with us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable, providing us with a map of the area, directions to highlights to see in the city, and safety precautions. The Bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view down a steep hill to old town, to the basilica, and to "Virgen de El Penecillo" on the hill in the distance; but the street itself, was really loud due to busses, trucks and cars using their brakes to slow them down on the really steep cobblestone street. It did quiet down around 8 pm, so it wasn't much of an issue.

Our stay was made so special by the wonderfully warm welcome of Hernan and the beautifully appointed rooms and perfect location in gorgeous Quito. Breakfast was excellent and uniquely local and we can highly recommend everyone to add this gorgeous hotel as a ‘must’!

Czarming hotel in the historic part of the city. Comfortable bed. Plenty of fresh water to drink. The manager cares very much about the guest. Good breakfast prepared just for you, whenever it suits you.You can feel safe here. Easy access to certain points of interest.

Wonderful place to stay in Quito. The host Hernan couldn't do enough for us .... took us on an amazing tour around his home town, both the old and the new, fabulous! Lots of hills in this location but it is definitely part of the charm. Wish that we could have had more time there. A mention to Ronnald too who very kindly drove us to many places on our last day before the airport. Highly recommend that you stay here to really get a feel of what Quito is all about.

Great stay! Stayed 6 nights and Hernan fed us a traditional Ecuadorian breakfast every morning and gave useful and meaningful suggestions for where to go and what to see each day. Thoroughly enjoyed "Tenderness" by Oswald Guayasamin and eating at "La Vid". Hernan made the reservation and got us a table that looked out across Independence Square at the Cathedral. I recommend timing dinner with the sunset and the lighting up of the Cathedral. Hotel was easy walking distance to everything in historic old town Quito. Comfortable, sizable shower and quiet. Highly Recommend.

If u r looking to stay in Centro Histórico, this location is excelllent. The bonus was the attention I received from Hernan, the manager. Different local breakfast each morning, answers to all my questions about Quito. And one evening, he even led a small tour up to Panecillo (highly recommended). Great service. Great human being.

The hotel is located at a quiet street in central Quito, prominent to the landmarks in a convenient location. The host Hernan and Blanca made us feel like home with warm hospitality and accustomed to our different needs. He also helped us to arrange pickup from the airport and recommended tours.

We had a very nice stay at this quaint and quiet hotel. Hernan was a very attentive host and shared with us very good information about the city, sites to visit and restaurants to try, including setting up reservations. He also arranged both pick up and drop off from the airport which we really appreciated.
