ロマンティック ホテル サンター(Romantik Hotel Santer)

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location. We had a very large room in the new Landro section. Beds were comfortable. It was quiet. If you stay here be sure to book direct and to sign up for half board. It was only 20 Euros per person per day for a wonderful dinner in a beautiful dining room. Multiple courses, salad bar, served desert or desert bar or both. There aren't a lot of good restaurant choices in Dobbiaco so half board is the way to go. Breakfast also great with buffet and eggs cooked to order. Hotel is close to train station but it is a one mile uphill walk to the bus station and most of the buses to the hiking areas leave from the bus station. You can bus to many great hikes, so Dobbiaco provides lots of hiking without need for a car.

Great hotel! Such a beautiful location, amazing interior design, rooms are hughhhh, fun and cozy. Didn't had the chance to enjoy the spa area, though it looks incredible. Hotel staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

The new building is absolutely amazing, and the outside pool is very nice

We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant because we had a celabration. The restaurant is mentioned on local maps, and the description on the website was inviting, so we asked to book a table the day before, but were told immediately that the restaurant was closed for external guests, however the website of the hotel invites all people to come by. Strange...

We had a good-sized deluxe room facing away from the busy road on which this hotel is situated. It had all the amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel, with the exception of air conditioning. In really hot weather, you may not be that comfortable, especially as there are hundreds of flies ready to enter open doors or windows. Superb bathroom. Comfortable bed. Nice deck area. The housekeeping and room cleaning each day was outstandingly good. The breakfast was very good with a large range of choices, and everything fresh and excellent. Parking was easy and good. There were some negatives: while many of the staff were superb (especially Kathi at breakfast) some of the junior staff did not seem well-trained and seemed flummoxed by simple requests (in English or in German). The a la carte dinner menu for those not having the half board option was in our view inadequate: an odd, limited selection of small plates, bland food, poor value. We booked on *********** and half board was not offered. Not allowed to select that option once there, presumably to create an advantage from direct bookings.

Beautiful hotel and staff very helpful

We enjoyed every minute of 2 nights at this beautiful hotel at the base of the Dolomites, for our hiking trip to Tre Cima. Everything was excellent and professional, staff, food, service, decor, spa, helpfulness and local activities. I would highly recommend this hotel! 5 stars.

The spa is larger than photographed - You cannot go wrong with a long weekend (or more) to balance out local hikes and relaxation!
