Such a charming little hotel with wonderful, friendly, fun and helpful staff (Brenda, Nicole, Mechelle and Andrea to name but a few). Clean, spacious rooms with good simple cooking facilities if you want to self cater. Maid service in rooms every day. Amazing location 10 min walk from Oistins and opposite a beautiful cove beach with warm, turquoise water. Fantastic little swimming pool which was never crowded. We loved our time at Golden Sands and would be lucky to return one day! Thank you all ❤️

Probably won’t be staying there again to many step and the weather was very Hot . my patio was between nothing but tress and shrubs .. which my granddaughter keep trying to grab a branch each time the wind blows the trees to the patio .. Shot out to Housekeeping staff.

The Receptionist (Brenda) was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant/courteous to us. The hotel is very quiet and just a very shot walk across form the sea/beach. The sound of the sea waves was very soothing and relaxing. The room service was satisfactory, and the room(s) were clean. We experienced some challenges with the stove on the 1st to 2nd day of our stay, but this got resolved. The location of the hotel is ideal for access to public transportation and taxi services, and a short distance from a supermarket and other stores. The hotel was NOT crowded. The main challenge experienced was getting Vegetarian meals. It is challenging to find vegetarian restaurants in Oistins and Barbados. I would definitely stay at Golden Sands Hotel again. Overall: an enjoyable 7 night stay at Golden Sands! We highly recommend this hotel to those who want a quiet, clean, and uncrowded place to stay while you are in Barbados. (ML)

Nice place. Beach is directly opposite, just across the road. Staff are kind. Locals come and hang out and the restaurant on Saturdays and it's a wonderful atmosphere.

Exceptionally friendly receptionist. Property a little noisy at times. Only tried breakfast on our first day, it wasn't very appetizing or fresh. Did not go for any further meals.

Very convenient for public transport and supermarket shopping. There is a beach across the road. The accommodation is well equipped for self catering. Rooms are throughly cleaned every day. Brenda the receptionist is brilliant. The staff in the restaurant were polite and helpful. Had a wonderful stay.

We spent 2+ weeks at the Golden Sands. All the staff were lovely. Brenda was amazing, helping us with everything we needed.The housekeepers came to our room every day. The hotel is comfortable and clean, with kitchenettes in the rooms, a nice pool and beautiful views from the balconies. There is a small beach across the street and we saw turtles as we swam daily. The hotel has a restaurant, serving locals and hotel guests, and their Saturday afternoon karaoke party is a must do.
