It is a lovely traditional country inn . Nicky the landlady is great as are her staff … beer is Timothy Taylor's and well kept and food above pub grub standard with a good choice of dishes . Breakfast was also top drawervDog friendly which is good for us and would defo go again

Lovely pub located in a small quiet village. We used it as a base to visit other areas nearby. Bedroom ensuite was warm and clean. We found the bed quite uncomfortable with a soft matress dipping in the middle and able to feel the metal springs. Furnishings are tired, but,more than adequate for our needs. Nice, hot over the bath shower. Tea and coffee provision excellent. We had our evening meals at the pub. Highly recommended! Hot and plentiful! Excellent breakfast.

Very cosy hotel, our family had a great time there and the breakfast was fantastic!

Good value and excellent home cooked food both for diner and breakfast.

We visited as couples for a Sunday Lunch expecting a decent lunch. Oh to be disappointed. The roasts were terrible. Turkey roast with no pigs in blankets and Raw Stuffing balls that had been grilled on the outside briefly, far too many herbs in the Gravy....WHY? Leave the Gravy alone. All the vegetables were bland and underseasoned and not too warm. We definitely will not be back or be recommended this place to anyone a basic Roast ruined

Fantastic, local pub. Staff are always very welcoming and friendly. We turned up as a group, this was not a problem. The fire was lit and even though the kitchen was closed because we were late they made sure we were fed. Will be returning soon.

Stayed for one night to break up the journey to Cornwall. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and got checked in quickly before being shown to our room. Room was spacious enough for a family of four, with a decent size bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which was good size portions at good prices and tasted great. The breakfast was also great and each time the service was friendly and efficient. This is a lovely little traditional pub in a beautiful village and I would happily recommend to anyone wanting somewhere for an overnight stay.

A nice welcome and pleasant overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast but pub lacking atmosphere in spite of it being a Saturday night.

Dog friendly stay with rooms out the back separated from the pub. Very friendly staff and good food provided for breakfast. Well cared for and looked after when it came to serving. Shame about the room. Black mould on every wall and the bed felt damp and had some mould on it too! Not to mention the hair in the bed. The shower overflowed everywhere when used. Yea and coffee provided with the kettle. Shame about the mould, hair and broken shower drain. Loved that it was dog friendly! However I wasn’t too sure how I felt about hearing the dogs bark coming from the kitchen.
