The first 1.5 days of my stay were very disappointing. Upon arrival, I saw and heard construction right next to the hotel. At check-in, I asked for a room away from the construction, but the receptionist said my booked room category was on the construction side and she couldn’t offer another option. She also mentioned the noise would start at 8:00 AM.
In reality, the noise was extremely loud, and the next morning it started at 6:30 AM, making it impossible to sleep. After half a day of discussions, the hotel finally agreed to move me. At this point, I was told that my booking was actually for a lower room category, and they could only move me to the same (lower) category on the other side of the hotel — which contradicted what I was told at check-in.
This resulted in unnecessary stress, loss of time and energy packing and unpacking, and receiving incorrect information at reception.

We waited over an hour to check in (even though we arrived at the hotel after 3 PM) because we requested a quiet room on the side of the building, not facing the construction site. We were told to wait 10 minutes, then another 10, then another 20 minutes, and so on for over an hour. Ultimately, we were given a room facing the construction site, and the noise was even present at night. Furthermore, even after such a long wait, they forgot to give us a second pair of slippers, there were no spoons for our glasses, and the glasses in the room weren't suitable for hot drinks. The hotel is okay, but the service was disappointing. Also, half the staff speaks poor English.

I needed to be close to Dubai Outlet Mall for an event happening there. For that purpose, the hotel location and pricing range are great. Other than that, it being only conducted to by highway makes access a little impractical. One way took 8 minutes, the other took over 20 minutes. I suppose that is typical in Dubai though.

The Hotel is very discriminatory towards Black people. Encountered two ****** incidents, one from the hotel stuff and an in house guest. I was travelling solo which was frightening and this in turn forced me to check out the very next day of checking in. I bridged the complaint to trip.com who were very helpful and compensated me at least half of my initial booking. So if you’re black be ready to experience the racial discrimination.
