It was a very bad experience from the beginning. The receptionist who checked me in gave me a People of Determination room without informing me. He never mentioned that he was assigning me that type of room. I only realized it after I entered the room and noticed the setup. This should have been clearly explained at the time of check in. Guests deserve to know what kind of room they are being given.
I booked the room for two adults, but I was staying alone. During check in, the receptionist asked if anyone would be joining me. I said no, I would stay alone. He then told me that if anyone joined me later, I would have to pay an extra 100 AED. This was very shocking to hear. I work in hospitality myself, and I understand how policies work. If the booking is already for two adults, there should not be confusion or surprise charges mentioned in that way.
What made the situation worse was that later at night, I informed another staff member that my friend might join later but I was not sure. He said there was no problem and that my friend could come. So I received two completely different statements from the staff. One said there would be an extra charge and the other said it was fine. This lack of communication and consistency is very unprofessional.
At check in, staff should clearly explain the room category, policies, and any additional charges in a professional and respectful manner. Instead, the whole experience felt careless and poorly managed. It honestly made me feel uncomfortable.
It also felt unfair. I could not help but feel that maybe I was given a less desirable room based on assumptions. In hospitality, every guest should be treated equally with respect, regardless of how they look or what position they hold. Professionalism and transparency are very important.
Overall, it was a horrible and disappointing experience. Management seriously needs to focus on staff training, communication, and guest handling. This kind of service does not reflect well on the property at all. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Hotel is located in central location.. accessiblity is good.. rooms are clean.. only issue i faced was water pressure was very low.. other wise had a comfortable stay
