ザ クラレンス(The Clarence)

前回ここに泊まったとき（約6年前？）部屋が汚かったので、3週間前までまた戻ってきませんでした。場所は、リフィー川沿いのテンプルバーの端にあり、素晴らしいです - 欠点はパーティーエリアなので、このエリアのほとんどのホテルと同様に、バーなどからの騒音がたくさんあるため、遅くまで寝るつもりはありません。部屋は素敵で、たくさんの素敵な心遣いがありました -私が抱えていた唯一の大きな問題は、ジャカルタ32度からダブリン12度にいたときで、セントラルヒーティングが機能しませんでした。スイッチを入れるにはフロントに電話する必要があり、その後、1時間ごとに切れて、フロントに電話するまで再び機能しません。 5つ星ホテル。 5回も電話し終わったので、あまり眠れませんでした!!火曜日の夜だったので、ホテル内のバーの1つが閉まっているように見えましたが、とにかく外にはたくさんのバーがありました。前回食べたときは朝食を食べませんでしたが、時間がかかり、トリップアドバイザーの最近のレビューから判断すると、まだこのようです。チェックインとチェックアウトのレセプションは、彼らのおもてなしに対して賞を獲得することはできませんでしたが、私が数晩前に滞在した川の向こう側のモリソンから本物のおもてなしを学ぶことができました。またそこに泊まりたいですか -いいえ -ボノと地元の人に任せます -ホスピタリティと同様に暖かさは基本的な要件です -ダブリン市内と同じかそれ以下の金額でより良いホテル。

Great location, pleasant staff, and comfortable bed.

Perfect location. Hotel is simple and rustic. No AC (which is fine, it’s Ireland) but we had an interior window that faced the sunrise so it warmed up rather quickly. Thankful for the soundproof windows bc there was a hopping bar below us w thumping music well into the early morning. But again, with this, air flow became a challenge at night. Grateful for the door fan which was provided. Hotel staff were helpful and provided us w an adaptor promptly.

Good location and friendly staff. Busy part of the city but good access to food and bars

The property was located in the heart of Temple Bar district which was very ideal. When we arrived, the staff was able to book us into a room before our check-in time which was much appreciated. The overall aesthetic of the property felt true to their online marketing -- fun, chic vibe. I was a bit disappointed in our room accommodations. We were told this was a upgrade, which I later learned was because of some design they recently completed in the bathroom. Our room was a corner unit that looked into a bare stairwell. I could care less about the view, but the room had a strange spatial configuration which made it really difficult to fit our luggage and have our luggage simultaneously open. Plus, the bathroom flooded every time we ran the shower. I think this was due to the glass not extending far enough beyond the showerhead and the curb or shower pan not gradating towards the drains. We were only there two nights, and by the time we had our first flooding experience, it only 36 hours until check-out so we decided to live with it during our time there. Lastly, the heating unit was not controllable from our room. We later learned that you had to call into the front desk and they would manually turn it off and on. After cooking our first night, we tried to call in the morning but couldn't find a phone to reach the reception. It was resolved after an in-person conversation. A minor disappointment given that splurgy expense to stay there and the high expectations going in.

We had a great stay at the Clarence that exceeded expectations! The front staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable, modern and stylish. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The rooms go around a nightclub/entertainment area that is very loud- the beat literally vibrated the floor of our room from midnight until 315 am. It woke us up and we stayed awake until it closed. We were on the second floor so it may have been worse there but it was horrible.
