ヴァラマール ティレナ ホテル(Valamar Tirena Hotel)

Magnifique hôtel entièrement rénové. Nous avons passé 15 jours ici en famille. Un enfant de 4 ans et une adolescente de 13 ans. Formidable infrastructure pour les enfants le Maro World avec des jeux, des tables de construction lego, des toboggans, piscine à balles, trampolines etc… tout inclus dans les services de l’hôtel. Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et serviable. Le buffets sont très fins. Vous pourrez trouver votre bonheur que ce soit en poissons, légumes, viandes. C’est très frais. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons et très copieux. Nous avons passés de merveilleuses journées au bord de la piscine avec le bar dans l’eau. Le restaurant Olivia de la piscine est délicieux. Bref, vous pouvez réserver dans cet hôtel les yeux fermés si vous venez en famille, entre amis ou en couple. Pour nos séances de sport, nous avions accès au fitness center d’un autre hôtel de la marque Valamar à quelques mètres, l’hôtel Lacroma. Nous avons également bénéficié de l’accès au spa et à la piscine de ce dernier. Nous réserverons à nouveau avec Valamar sur une autre destination l’année prochaine car nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Very helpfull and kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accomodations. Highly recommendable hotel. The stay was lovely, loved the breakfast which was included. The place was very close to the bus station. We had a wonderful stay at the Tirena.

A really lovely and modern hotel which is elegantly decorated. It sits on a complex with other hotels from the same chain in a peaceful forested area with a few beaches away from the city. There are buses to the old town or it is a short 10 min ride in a taxi (I would recommend using Uber which costs about €7 - we found with regular taxis the price could differ from €18 to €30 which was both insane and infuriating. Ubers arrive very quickly.) Between the hotel and the old town there is also a part of the city with restaurants and bars. The complex itself has a few shops, bars, and restaurants and a really nice holiday vibe to it. The pool is fantastic, and my son and I really enjoyed the water slides. There is a nice poolside bar plus a restaurant. My son loved the kid's zone Maro World which has PS5/X-Box, Lego, trampolines, and a soft play. I believe they also offer a kid's club where you can leave your children all day however we didn't use it. The breakfast is really extensive with lots of choice including freshly made omelettes to your specification. We didn't have an evening meal but it looked nice. The bar area of the hotel is also very relaxing with a large outdoor terrace. The staff were friendly and the hotel upgraded our room free-of-charge on arrival. They also let us check-out a little bit later as our check-out date fell on my birthday. We only stayed for 3 nights as we were travelling around Croatia but this was the one hotel we ended up wishing we'd stayed at for longer. We were visiting out of season and would love to one day return for a longer stay in summer, although Dubrovnik old town was perfect to visit in October.

We came to Babin Kuk for 11 days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We loved that we were a simple bus ride away from the old town of Dubrovnik, but in a quiet area with plenty of beaches and pools to access. Unfortunately, we had a day of rain but we used the Valamar Lacroma indoor pool (free of charge) for the day, which was like a spa day! The range of pools and outdoor space was nice and being in October, it was quiet and peaceful. We had breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant and there was a good variety of food each morning, and friendly staff. We would definitely come back to any of the Valamar resort hotels!

Stayed here for 3-nights. You can take Bus #6 to the old city (2€ each way). Lots of pools and close to beaches (walkable). You have access to the surrounding hotels owned by Valamar (Argosy, Lacroma, and Tirena). Facilities were clean. Great for family since there’s a children s area including water slides. The room was large enough for 2. The only issue is the water would get out when showering so make sure you ask for a couple of floor mats to clean up the water. Keep in mind the location is mostly surrounded by resorts but there’s about 3-4 beaches within walking distance:

The newly renovated rooms are stunning and you have a great selection of restaurants around, the bus stop nearby is super convenient and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve seen cause the variety is big and you have vegetables and fruit. The only thing misleading are the beach photos of the private beach of the 5 star hotel in front of this hotel which make it seem like the Tirena Beach. The hotel pool is great and you can use the wellness area of the Lacroma but if you are really looking for a nice beach it’s a bit tricky cause the Copacabana one was pretty dirty to be honest and the coral beach club’s beach was nice but the prices for daybeds pretty high.

Hotel novo, quarto com varanda, excelente banheiro. Contudo, falha nos amenities, cada dia esqueciam de repor algo. Tivemos problemas com internet e a SmartTV, que não funcionaram desde o check in. Notificamos a recepção que nos informou que o problema era geral e que seria arrumado no dia seguinte pela manhã. Mentira. Não era geral, e então foi arrumado no dia seguinte, o serviço foi restabelecido somente na noite do boas último dia no hotel, sem maiores explicações. Para Tentar amenizar nossa insatisfação, deixaram uma pequena bandeja com algumas frutas ( sem faca ou guardanapos para cortar o quitei, por exemplo), sem bilhete algum Tudo muito primário, os recepcionistas pareciam estar irritados quando perguntávamos sobre à internet, foi constrangedor. Deixamos uma reclamação formal para a gerência com nossos Contatos. Já se passaram 15 dias e sequer recebemos um e-mail do hotel. Restaurante excelente, diversificado. Café da manhã muito bom Piscina com muitas espreguiçadeiras e guarda dois, todos ficam bem instalados, contudo o bar da piscina tem apenas um funcionário, o que torna o serviço extremamente lento. Talvez estes problemas sejam resolvidos com o tempo, pois o hotel é muito bom.

I was very disappointed to stay with a hotel that was still under construction. The hotel smelled like construction from the inside and outside and we heard all the noise as well. The biggest disappointment was not having a single pool at the hotel for use being that it was still “under construction”. Had we known, we would have stayed somewhere else. Also, ******* showed the beach on the hotel and it was about an &-10 min walk in the heat. A relaxing stay that we desired turned out to be an inconvenience. One room we booked didn’t even have electricity but thankfully we were able to switch for another quickly. The positive things are the beautiful clean rooms, and the breakfast spread.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Valamar Tirena. The facilities were excellent, especially the pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent also. The room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Would highly recommend.
