Very friendly staff and a lovely hotel

We were ripped off with there black Friday afternoon tea coupons. After purchasing these over the last few years they have changed there terms. We feel very let down by the Torrance and after many years of being regular customers we will not be returning. They are more interested in profit. For the sake of ripping us off for £50 they will lose thousands in our future custom.

We had our wedding here on 24.02.2024, what can I say from start to finish the team were fantastic cannot fault them, from the planning right up until the day itself this team nailed it, a special shout out to Dominic our master of ceremony, he is an absolute credit to the Torrance team all of our guests loved him, Emily, Anya, Amy & Paula who helped me with my wedding dress at the end of the night were all amazing could not have done this without there help and professional manner, if anyone is thinking of this venue for their wedding, do it you will not be disappointed, Thanks so much Kenny & Sarah

Had a lovely dinner at the Torrance Hotel. We had the Village menu like a pre theatre menu , food was spot on , piping hot and tasty. Saw done meals coming out from the a la carte menu and they all looked delicious. Staff were so helpful and attentive and overall lovely ambience in the place will definitely be back soon.

I am bitterly disappointed in this hotel, I had bought a voucher for my grandparents Christmas and they booked to stay here on Monday 12th February and Tuesday 13th February. Both my Grandparents are elderly and use wheeled walking frames and we specifically asked if the hotel room would be suitable for them - it wasn’t there was not enough space to manoeuvre the walkers round the beds and we had to pay extra for this room . The beds were extremely uncomfortable with a very thin mattress. A lot of the food options on the menu were not available. My grandparents ended up cutting their visit short and were only offered half the money back as a refund. No apology or anything was ever offered. I will be advising everyone not to visit this hotel.

Hi, my brother got married in this hotel in October 2023, fantastic day from start to finish, we had a problem as our 15yr old son went missing from his room the following morning and was nowhere to be seen, we contacted the reception and they all acted in a rapid and professional manner to search the hotel and grounds, they said they were confident he wasn’t in the hotel or on the hotel grounds so advised us to contact the police, while I was on the phone to the police he walked through the front door, where he was was another story and absolutely nothing to do with the hotel. I’d just like to say how fantastic of a venue this was for my brothers wedding and everyone at the wedding agreed, fantastic service and staff, would not hesitate to come back to this hotel, special thanks to Andres and his staff at the reception for looking after us and all the other staff that morning for searching for my son, outstanding 👏❤️

Had my daughter's wedding at the Torrance and we had the most wonderful day. The entire team from wedding planners to housekeepers went out of their way to make it the most special day. Nothing was a bother to this team, they were just amazing. Attended their wedding fayre and booked all their recommended people and the function rooms were just so beautiful. Can't thank you all enough for making my daughter's day the best ever ❤️

We hired the main function room for our mums 90th birthday celebrations. We met with Eilidh to discuss what we wanted and nothing was a problem . We changed things several times , even the week before but still no problem . The staff on the night of our event made the whole night go as smooth as clockwork and we had an amazing time . The DJ was wonderful and very appropriate . The buffet was delicious and well presented. Several of our guests stayed the night at the hotel and were very happy with the rooms and the breakfast . Overall we had a fun, hassle free, perfect celebration and would recommend this hotel to anyone .

Restuarant visit with family who like this venue. Overall nice food but disappointing gluten free options. Menu suggests gf options, Fajitas not available with wraps just rice which I don't want as isn't really the a fajitas meal. Burger no buns so served on bread (sure co-op shop down road would sell them!) Not great which is a shame as lovely venue and handy for a meal out.
