流行の間、朝食ボックスが提供され、ホテルの火災警報器は夜に数回鳴りました。入居者数は少なく、室内の衛生状態は平均的で、サービス態度も悪くない。

Nice hotel

Property was in a central location. While it was comfortable enough, it is definitely an older building and there were signs of wear and tear throughout the halls and in the room. Nothing that made our stay uncomfortable though. What we didn't like is that parking was a block down the road and came at an extra cost ($20 a night). The water pressure was absolutely disappointing and there was only enough warm water for one of us to shower which meant I had to have a cold shower in the morning. I understand the desire to be environmentally friendly but that was all around a shock. Honestly, because of the shower and the inconvenient parking, we probably won't be staying here again in future.

There was no hot water and it sounds as though it’s an ongoing and known issue. This is just not an option and the excuse that they need a pump that circulates the water didn’t help. There was no offer of credit or refund. They simply said “sorry about that”. Which doesn’t fly with me. I will not stay there again and that’s a shame because it’s nice and it’s conveniently located. I think this old building is going to require on going repairs which will make it an unpleasant stay.

I've stayed at the Varscona on a number of occasions. Just think the property is started to get tired a bit . But i do like the area for day and nightlife

It was very clean, rooms were quiet and spacious. I found it inconvenient to park in the parkade and not be able to go through the parkade entry way with a stroller. (Stairs all the way through). Other than that, it was a great stay.

Comfortable room, great location. A little disappointed that breakfast is no longer included in the price of the room.

Always love the Varscona. Such high standards for how they run the place, we just love it!

Convenient, comfortable and friendly hotel right on Whyte Avenue. Walking distance to University.
