ブルー カラー ホテル(Blue Collar Hotel)

Nice and clean hotel with big rooms and very close to bus stations. There is also a very nice restaurant in the hotel. The staff in reception and restaurant is very friendly and really helpful!

Great place. I will be back next time when I will be in Eindhoven :)

Bedbug alert! On our first day of arrival, we were given a room (314) with bed bugs. They bit me all over, from my face to my feet. I contacted them, and they laughed it off, saying it’s just a bug bite, not dangerous. We got an another room, and they washed my clothes. The next day, the situation got worse, so I emailed them for compensation, but haven’t received a response yet. My roommate also contacted them, and they claimed we could have brought them ourselves, so they’re only willing to refund 100 euros out of the 316 euros, plus the 28 euros tourist tax. There was a strange sweet smell in the room, and brown spots on the bedsheet and blankets, so I don’t think we brought them ourselves. Especially since three weeks ago, there was another complaint about bed bugs. Their joke was that they think bed bugs are in every hotel. I’ve traveled to many places around the world and never encountered them. So, if you can, avoid this hotel! The hygiene is unacceptable. They ruined my whole vacation, and they just shrug it off.

Bed bugs. I was here to chaperone a school basketball trip. The room wasn't the cleanest. Under the beds were dusty, and the mattress covers were worn and had holes. I left covered in bed bug bites up and down my body. Mattresses are cheap and worn out. I appreciate the industrial aesthetic, but no shower door meant the bathroom flooded with every shower. They leave you a giant squeegee to manage the puddles (not what I particularly want in a stay). The staff were friendly and nice, and the restaurant, though a bit pricey, had decent food. I wouldn't stay here again.

Room was horribly and cheaply built. Bathroom held together by planks of wood, If you wanted to shower you had to mop it all up yourself after cause there was nothing to guide the water into the drain . Bare pipes snaking across a ceiling that was falling apart. The floor was steel no carpet to speak of. Horrible looking, all it had was heating and a somewhat comfortable bed. should be half the price of what it is now.

We booked this hotel as it was right next door to the music event we were attending. Quite a quirky hotel (in a good way), in the sense of decor and building itself, the rooms were clean and adequate. Our room overlooked the railway at the back of the building, but this didn't cause us loss of sleep (trains were really quiet). Hotel is within walking distance to Eindhoven Central station and central Eindhoven (for shopping, etc). Good choice of shops for those who want this! Hotel was cosy. Food menu was really interesting and rather tasty (we tried the burgers, veggie burgers, breakfast and sharing dessert platter). Really good - we didn't feel the need to go elsewhere. The hotel staff were really helpful and helped me many times take food upstairs back to our room. Brian was lovely and a pleasure to chat to! We will definitely stay at the hotel again.

It is a really good accomodation and the staff is amazing :) the rooms are clean and industrial looking but in a good way. The hotel location is excellent, and Amsterdam can easly accessible with train.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Blue Collar hotel. I loved the cheerfulness and cleanliness of the property, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. I felt at ease during my stay and really enjoyed my time there.

This is a quirky hotel in the Strijp-S neighborhood. Apparently this used to be an old Philips factory and the hotel has retained most of its industrial feel. It’s about a 4 min to the Eindhoven Strijp-S train station and about 4 min to Eindhoven Centraal on the train. There are also buses 1 block away. This hotel is attached to a bar which seemed busy with diverse clientele. Please note that there is not a fully functioning reception area with couches, coffee machine etc. although there are some movie hall type or chairs where one could possibly sit (even if uncomfortably). The guys who worked here were all nice. Special mention to Rafaele, Obi, and Bryan. These guys made sure I was okay when my bus was delayed and I needed a room for an extra night. The sheets are comfortable and the decor is very minimalist here. One can hear the NS trains from about 6am until midnight although infrequently. Light sleepers take note. I recommend the Blue Collar Hotel to anyone looking for a quirky and fun experience in the Strijp-S neighborhood.
