This is my second time staying here. The hotel is very clean and the staff is super helpful and welcoming. They were great with helping us plan our excursions. We ordered packed lunches from the restaurant and they were ready for us to take on our early morning excursions, which was great. We enjoyed a delicious milanesa sandwich on the glacier! We also kicked off every day with a great free breakfast downstairs. It's on the main road and only a few blocks away from all the main shops and restaurants. The area is very walkable. I would definitely recommend to someone!

Great location, beautiful surroundings…safe, pedestrian neighbourhood, close to shops & restaurants… Small single beds (not even twin)…clean room & bathroom…rough towels… Measly breakfast…canned fruit salad, no eggs, just bread, ham & cheese… Adequate accommodations…

Stayed here for 2 nights. While the rooms are clean and staff are pleasant the stay itself was not good. The walls are paper thin so I was woken up both mornings very early by hotel guests and staff, walking around and talking outside. The breakfast was very basic and not very enjoyable. I had breakfast in a cafe down the street on my 2nd morning. Also, I left headphones in the room and didn’t realise until I got to the airport. We had left our bags in the hotel that morning when checking out and came back later that afternoon to collect our bags. Nobody in the hotel mentioned the headphones and I had to ring and get a taxi to bring them to the airport. Wouldn’t recommend

This was a nice, simple hotel. The rooms and bathroom were spacious. If you have mobility issues, I don’t know how you can stay here because there were a lot of steps, even to just get into the front doors. We were on the first floor and there were still a lot of steps. Plus, the hallways were very long. The hotel just had a strange layout. The included breakfast was also simple. It had basic items and a small selection. The front desk was very friendly. They helped book dinner reservations, call taxis, and communicated information regarding our tours. The location was great. It was right on the main street, so most shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. The hotel was subset in a way that it wasn’t directly on the street, so you did not hear the traffic. We did have issues with the heat in the room. The bathroom was comfortable, but the bedroom was very cold. Someone from the front desk came to look at the radiator but couldn’t figure it out. Instead, he gave us an extra blanket. I would try other hotels before coming back.

We stayed at this hotel as a part of a tour, and had a great experience. The rooms are simple but clean, and overlook the lake with a sliding door leading to a small balcony. The restaurant was very nice and had a great free breakfast every morning. They also provided packed lunches if you were on a tour for 2100 Argentinian pesos ($7 Canadian) the front desk knew what tours you were going on as well as pickup times for busses, etc. There are excellent restaurants nearby and in the town centre about a 10 minute walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting El Calafte.

Nice place, a very good architecture with a beautiful garden, the rooms are quiet at night, a pastry shop and a small market are located across the street. Friendly staff, good argentine standard breakfast, and Wifi available. No fridge

A basic hotel , centrally located, breakfast very basic, but convenient and staff pleasant, stop over place, very warm bit can turn radiators down, clean and no issues kept out bags over night which was helpful, limited breakfast but good enough

NE PAS Y ALLER (DO NOT GO) 1- premier jour, nous demandons un fer à repasser à la réception. Ils nous disent qu’il n’y a pas la clé à la réception (choquant pour une réception) et qu’il faudra attendre le lendemain qu’il nous le ramènera. Trois jours dans cet hôtel, personne ne nous a ramené de fer à repasser! 2- toile d’araignée, gigantesque dans la chambre. Dès que nous ouvrons la porte, je l’ai signalé à plusieurs reprises. En trois jours, ça n’a pas été nettoyé (photo à l’appuie) 3- le petit déjeuner ne correspond pas du tout aux photos montré sur le site Internet. En effet il y a aucune nourriture fraîche (fruits ou légumes), sur les photos du site, on y voit des fruits frais et des légumes tels que des tomates et des concombres il n’y avait rien de tout ça en trois jours, il y avait à disposition des fruits en conserve qui était acide et immangeable, et pour couronner le tout, il y avait un bol de fruits en plastique sur le buffet du petit déjeuner. Donc seulement pour la décoration. Si les clients veulent manger des fruits frais le matin il n’y a rien. Pareil j’ai fait la réflexion, trois jours, zéro changement. 4- ils mettent à disposition des croissants qui sont très froid. Je les mets donc à chauffer et je vais me servir du café. En attendant je constate que mon croissant a disparu je regarde autour de moi. Je ne comprends pas donc je remets un croissant à chauffer, la serveuse vient me voir et me dit on ne chauffe pas les croissants. Ici je lui dis que je comprends cependant ils sont très froid donc soit il les réchauffe, soit elle me laisse les réchauffer pareil, ça a été une bataille, elle a donc enlevé mon croissant sans pour autant venir me voir pour m’expliquer pourquoi elle l’enlève service client inadmissible. Et enfin, nous avions une randonnée prévue pour le matin à 7:00 et j’ai demandé du café dans mon thermos, ils ont catégoriquement refusé sous prétexte que c’était la politique de l’hôtel, je tiens quand même à préciser qu’il s’agit ici de café instantané, et j’ai finalement pu en acheter juste en face de L’hôtel pour 1€, le problème ce n’est pas l’argent mais c’est le manque de service client et de compréhension, et pareil pour l’eau, le matin j’ai voulu remplir mon thermos au buffet. La serveuse m’a dit que c’était interdit, pour autant s’excuser ou faire preuve de compréhension. En partant, j’ai listé tous les points négatifs à la réception, celle-ci à hausser les épaules. J’imagine que c’est juste un boulot et qu’elle en a rien à faire. Il n’y a aucun service client, je ne recommande pas du tout, il y a d’autres hôtels avec beaucoup plus de service clients pour le prix que c’est ça n’en vaut pas la peine. Je vous recommande vraiment d’aller ailleurs je laisse très rarement de mauvaises avis mais quand je constate un manque de considération à l’égard voyageurs C’est lamentable, considérant les sommes astronomiques que l’on utilise utilise pour voyager le monde et découvrir de nouvelles cultures. Localização do hotel fica na av central de El calafate. Do hotel ao centrinho da para ir a pé, uns minutinhos caminhando, nada tão distante. O hotel é muito limpo, quarto grande, area de convivência aconchegante e iluminado, calefacao, secador cabelo, TV, não tem frigobar, café da manhã fraco, para o porte do hotel poderia ser bem melhor. Hotel tem muitas escadas para acessar os quartos, o que dificulta o carregamento das malas. Não tem elevador. O hotel não tem acesso para pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. Funcionários muito educados. Para quem vai fazer trekking ou outro passeio e deseja levar um lanche, o hotel dispõe de kit lanche, valor do kit consultar no hotel quando chegar.
