Very clean, cozy and comfortable! And our bedroom wasn´t too cold (and didn´t have a draft!), which is great in winter! Really lovely breakfast options. Ross and Blair (the owners) are super friendly and had great recommendations in regard to restaurants, taxi services and tourist-y activites.

Lovely guest house definitely recommend it Blair couldn’t been more helpful was here for work but would definitely come back for a long weekend nice town Elgin wish had more time see it definitely would come back to this guest really recommend it to anyone visiting Elgin thank you for having me Brian Connor

This was a lovely bed and breakfast came all the way on bus from oban to Inverness and train to Elgin whet got here was help up stairs luggage case nice and comfortable breakfast lovely and hot each morning was allways asking was breakfast ok yes

We were given a very warm welcome. Everything about the property was clean and well furnished.. The breakfast was excellent.

Stay was pleasant and Ross and Blair very helpful. If travelling for pleasure breakfast window finished a bit early. Find yourself ready to go out for the day before 9.00am which is too early for anything to be open.

Very comfortable and spotless room and en suite, had a great sleep. Everything you need in the room. The breakfast was great, freshly prepared and very tasty. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Great value and really recommend staying here.

Me and my son were at Elgin-Scotland in August 2022 and we stayed at the "ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC " guesthouse. The proprietors Ross McDonald and Blair Robertson, are really very warm hearted and staying with them gave us a feeling of being at home away from home. Infact on the evening of our arrival there were some travel issues and we reached Elgin and the guesthouse pretty late at night. But, inspite of the delay, the way these two gentlemen greeted and welcomed us with their warm and endearing smile literally took away all that travel stress and has left a permenant positive image in our minds. The property is absolutely well maintained. The lovely garden with a variety of flowers is very soothening to the eyes and mind. For those travelling by their own vehicle, there is ample private parking space available on the back side of the property....so you can leave your vehicle there and enjoy stress free walks /tours in and around Elgin. The room was very clean, neat and tidy. Very cozy beds. We had a real good sleep. The table in the room was well stocked with tea, coffee, sugar etc ...which made the morning quite enjoyable...you know...sipping on a hot cuppa tea /coffee and taking in views through those large windows. The breakfast was fabulous. One can indulge in that absolutely Scottish breakfast or go for the other available options too. Whichever you choose...it is absolutely delecious. The fruits are very fresh and of high quality. Same goes for the meats, salmon etc. You can wash it down with ample amount of fruit juice (various options available) which one can pour from the decanters. What I must mention here without fail is the "Service with a broad smile " and a little chat with both of them that makes the breakfast really very enjoyable. This property is located at a short, walking distance from the Railway station, Main Bus station and the market place ...thus making it very convenient for ones travel plans. Before I end this review, I would like to say : "Dear Ross McDonald and Blair Robertson, me and my son shall never forget you, your warm smile and the lovely way you greeted and welcomed us at such a late hr on that first night of ours".
