most beautiful hotel in Ericeira very well located in the city center close to the best bars restaurants and markets with many activities available to enjoy all the beauty that only Ericeira has I recommend renting one of the bikes and going to surf lessons there is no better activity for do it on the weekend

Kind staff, clean hotel and a clean room. The breakfast was good and it had the basic food available with different options. The hotel was also located very central which was great, and you would still experience a calm and quiet environment during the stay, we loved it. The bed was super comfy and the room was overall clean and fresh. The only thing was that the wifi-connection did not work for us and our room was one floor up in the building.

Ericeira has a special magic, made even more beautiful by the place where we stayed. The staff who welcomed and looked after us were very attentive. The place is beautifully decorated, with a simple, artistic atmosphere.

Beautiful hotel, we would definitely book this hotel again, it was right in the heart of Nazaré town. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was lovey too with lots of choice. The staff were all very friendly. The indoor pool was lovey and warm.

Central hotel recently renovated, the ocean view from the room : )~ Friendly and welcome staff with good local knowledge. The breakfast is really good well prepared and complete The common area is perfect to work and enjoy.

I had a private room, which was very comfortable and clean. Nice location, close to shops, restaurants and beach. Public parking available just down the road. Keep in mind that there are no elevators.

The rooms were very very clean. Housekeeping cleaned extremely well. It had a very homey feel. The staff helped with anything we needed. The breakfast was great and went longer than breakfast usually goes. The location was at the center of Ericeira so everything was very accesible by walking.

Accomodation is modern but cosy and with a sea/beachy vibe. I realy liked the decor, the comfort and how cosy the room was. Everything was spotless clean, nice shower, very nice room and staff was also very friendly and helpful.

In short: the staff here made an error which was grossly negligent at best (allowing someone without a booking to enter a hostel and its communal areas). Whats worse however, was the total lack of manners and common sense which led them to place the blame- and cost- on the customer. Longer story: I booked a very last minute stay at WoT Ericeria for 4 nights. On arrival I gave my name, passport and paid the Portuguese tourism tax. I was then given my room key and sent in the direction of my room which was a 300m walk from the main hotel (all fine and well). I was expecting a double bedroom but when I arrived it turned out to be a two bedroom suite- naturally I assumed I had been upgraded! The next morning a staff member came to my room to explain that I was not supposed to be in the suite and they actually couldn’t find a booking under my name… After checking my emails I soon realised that my *********** reservation had not gone through (for what reason I do not know) and while I felt some embarrassment, I then started to wonder how they were able to check me in as a guest without a booking or any record of me on their system. Prior to arriving I had even called reception to notify them that I was arriving late and this was received without issue. Despite the confusion I agreed without hesitation to move to a different room and pay in full for the booking that I had intended to make (as any person would). This involved moving my bags and making another trip to the hotel reception up the road. I realised at this point that if the reception had carried out its basic duty then I would not be in this awkward position I found myself in. Despite this, I was extremely polite and even apologetic for my part in what happened. I was expecting the same from hotel the hotel staff… Instead, the staff were incredibly ill-mannered about the situation and to my bewilderment they insisted that I pay the full room rate for the double suite that I was mistakenly given (3 times that of a single room!). Clearly I was under no obligation to pay anything for this mistake- and while I was offering to pay the rate of the single room, they still had the audacity to try and force me to pay for a room I had never agreed to stay in. This made me incredibly angry and ultimately made my stay there extremely uncomfortable. The gentleman working at the lodge was the only staff member with an understanding of customer service. Because of him I eventually agreed to pay slightly over the single room rate to put an end to the matter and get on with my trip. I would 100% not recommend staying at a hostel that: (a) is capable of letting a random person off the street walk in and access a hostel with communal areas (b) has a complete lack of respect for customers. I certainly won’t be coming back!
