In Italy, they give the stars away and this for sure is not a 4 stars hotel, maybe 3. The room was not as expected and the breakfast was basic. We asked for the electric iron but it wasn't available. I have to say that at the checkout, I complained and the reduced bit cost of the room, but I’ll not change my mind, I'll not come back here.

Hotel options are somewhat limited in Faenza… Hotel Vittoria is certainly appealing with its eccentric decor! The welcome was friendly, reception area is nicely decorated.. however the bedroom (104) was not overly clean with hairs in the bathroom and paintwork marked everywhere.. the bed linen is poor quality and the room was very very cold also with the air con on highest warm setting not resolving the temperature! The bathroom amenities are lacking (shower/shampoo mix was the only item provided), hairdryer is old (not powerful enough) and should be upgraded. The shower drain is also blocked… no in room kettle (available at reception). No iron/ironing board available which was a big issue for me! Walking through the hotel there is a real chill in the air so bring you coat when going for breakfast as most guests do. Waitress at breakfast was not friendly, provided no service, did not even get a coffee… chewing gum not very professional. She rushed around to clear tables before guests had fully finished. The breakfast buffet is basic - continental spread.. a fresh fruit salad would be nice as fruit not fresh. Lots of room for improvement!

Mi chiedono se lo riscegliere? Certamente e sempre nei miei viaggi a Faenza. Pulitissimo e accogliente con una super colazione per affrontare senza fatica una giornata intera. Si presenta con un arte decó ma con caratteristiche moderne che non influenzano o per lo meno non stonano con lo stile neoromantico dell'arredamento.
