ザ オーク モーテル(The Oak Motel)

This hotel is dirty and very very unsafe with the type of people hanging in and around the hotel. Management would not refund the rest of the booked stay when we refused to stay after the first night.

The office was ridden with cigarette smoke and the staff was not wearing pants when they checked us in. It was truly an odd experience but we were so exhausted and just needed a room. I don’t believe we slept at all in fear of the door not feeling secure. The room was cleanish but you could tell the recent renovation was an attempt to cover grime which did

Love the spacious rooms and comfortable beds..but i wish they had a little bit more lighting inside the room

The room was clean for how old it was, the tv kept going out, the staff was great

We stayed on Thanksgiving. Angie went far and beyond taking time away from her family to make sure my husband could watch the Cowboys outside in the pavilion and even prepped up a fire :)

Property was unsafe for two women to stay at. There were people slouched over in chairs. The rooms were dirty.

Find another place. Filthy rooms and bathroom. Bed was nothing but old worn out springs. Broken down office chairs in front of rooms. I think may be a “extended” type place as it looked and sounded like people lived here. Overall not a great property for $120 a night. Of course rates were extremely jacked up due to Round Top Festival.

Excellent friendly staff. Easy check in. Room has been updated and was very clean, but the toilet pressure was not too strong and backed up easily. That was the only thing that was a negative and can be easily fixed.

We found lots of webs and bugs in our room. Made it uncomfortable to stay the night. Doors are very questionable as far as security. Was traveling with family so decided it was best to leave in the middle of the night
