Ottima struttura, molto pulita e ben ubicata, l'unico neo è l'insonorizzazione della stanza all'apertura del cancello automatico e al passaggio di altri ospiti
The B&B part of the Villa Royal is three blocks away overlooking a square in which there is a child's playground and several benches occupied by local drunks. The square feels dark, damp, and a little threatening at night. To access the rooms, you have to open a big wooden doorway that enters onto an inner courtyard in which there are residential houses/flats and cars parked. You next have to open an electronic gate which makes the most appalling noise as it opens and closes multiple times a day and night. The noise was so invasive (it sounded like a cat being skinned) that we reported it to the hotel and asked to move rooms, which they agreed to but we could still hear it distantly. Nobody came to oil or fix the gate so my husband bought some olive oil for the hinges which improved it slightly but not enough. The bedrooms were large and chilly and serviced daily by two maids who sighed and groaned if we weren't ready. Twice we had to ask for the tea/coffee sachets to be replaced, as they weren't. Although the receptionist at the pretty hotel was pleasant and helpful, our overall experience of their B&B was extremely unsatisfactory and we wouldn't recommend it at all for the price.
