B＆B ヴェロッキオ(Il Verrocchio)

The room smells disgusting….very strong smelling from the toilet.

Ottima posizione, il centro è raggiungibile con una bella passeggiata lungo questa via (via San Gallo) piena di negozi e locali. Camera ammodernata e grande, infissi nuovi, materasso e cuscini comodi, riscaldamento funzionante. Personale accogliente e disponibile, ci ha fornito la cartina e dato ottimi consigli.

En primer lugar decir que no es un hotel, es un piso, en el que cuando entras te indican cuál es tu habitación. Cuando llegas a la dirección, tienes que encontrar el nombre del hotel en el telefonillo del portal. Un piso viejo, mal acondicionado, en el que se mueven las baldosas cuando pisas, las puertas del baño no cierran y los enchufes los tienes que sujetar con la mano para que no se arranquen…Estructura viejísima en la que se oye absolutamente todo. En este “hotel” no hay limpieza ni cambio de toallas diario. El desayuno incluido son unos sobres de té, unos paquetes de pan tostado y mermelada que tienes en la habitación en una cesta con un hervidor lleno de polvo. A este lugar le sobran las 3 estrellas y la palabra “hotel”. Nunca más…

We could use fridge and microwave unfortunately that room in comparison with the bedroom was unordered. The water cooker was very good for breakfast in room just why in land von cappuccino there was just tea...

Personale cortese e accogliente. Posizione centrale e facilmente raggiungibile. La qualità è in linea con il prezzo. Sebbene fuori ci fosse freddo, dentro l'ambiente era ben riscaldato. Sicuramente ritornerei

Be aware if you are a solo traveler, particularly FEMALE. One of the employees at the front desk will try to take you out and then sleep with you. Be very careful. Don't trust the man here or simple DO NOT BOOK HERE.

The staff was very accommodating and came outside to greet us when we had trouble figuring out which building was the correct building. Parking on the street was very full making it difficult to check in. The room was clean and spacious. We had to go up a step to the bathroom, which was not an issue, just something to be aware of. The lights going up the stairs to the reception are not always on, so be sure to ask where the light switch is or it can be very dark. It was a great place for an over night stay and close to many things.

This isn't a hotel/B&B by a country mile, the room was large and clean but they were the only the positives. The staff are unhelpful, abrupt, and the staff would shout and make loads of noise from 8am in the morning. One dirty, broken and chipped mug for a room for two people. The lift didn't work most of the time, which made carry luggage up flights of stairs difficult. Don't take valuables if you are staying here, I left my new Air Pod Pros they contacted me but I was on the train to Milan, they asked me to arrange a courier which I did costing £80 to ship back to the UK. Then they wouldn't post the item when the courier arrived even though I sent lots of instructions and they agreed to. They then messed me around for 2 weeks and then ignored all further messages asking them to send a photo of the package with a label on for Fedex could back.
