Too remote for me , facility is nice but for me , too confined unless you want to go with car

Enjoyed our stay at Sorriso, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is lovely. We stayed in the annex building and found the room to be a little outdated, however, this seems to be relatively common for Ischia. Would recommend to others looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Forio.

I have stayed here before in 2018 and it was exceptional but things seem to have changed. I advised the hotel i was a returning guest but they took little notice of that. Ischia is the neapolitan's territory and the island's infrastructure is really in need of serious investment to sustain the tourist season in the future. I posted cards in the hotel which never arrived in uk. I would not return to this hotel. Such a shame so much potential.

It is very good hotel for visiting Giardini Poseidoni. There is shuttle to the beach , the rooms are fine. Beautiful view.

This is my first time here, my wife's second. She has been trying to get me here for the past two years. This time we came in a group of two couples and stayed in the exquisite Villa Giusy extension, over the hotel. Highly recommended. Il Sorriso is just super-excellent in every category. I am just sorry I didn't come years ago ! We will certainly be back at least a couple of times a year, every year, from now on. Summary; Wonderful location, amazing spa services and highest standards throughout. Amazing and super-close sea views, wonderful friendly staff, very professional but with that special warmth and dignity that comes with being an island people. As an Irishman, I appreciate and recognise these special traits. It is not just Luca and Simeone in the navettes, it is all the wonderful people from dining room to reception to pool staff who go the extra mile to check that all is well with you. We are spolied now and will expect this everywhere we go, but, in vain. There is unfortunately only one Sorriso Thermae Resort & Spa and you have to come to Ischia to find it. We have all the spa services you could want, in addition, we are right beside the justifiably famous Poiseidon Thermal Park and gardens served by the hotel navette service that also takes clients to the Spiaggia di Citara and various touristic destinations, if you really, really need to leave this oasis of comfort, pleasure and, above all, total relax. Bring some books. Your feet with sprout roots and you will develop an intense desire to just stay put and be cosseted in this paradise by these very special people. I admit it, I am still here and I am begining to wonder just how I can avoid going home.......... John

Had a really wonderful time at a very friendly hotel. The spa facilities are excellent and relaxing in the naturally heated swimming pool was just amazing. We booked half board. The breakfast was as you woudl expect, buffet, and worked well. Dinner was very good every night, with starter, main, and secondi before a sweet. Food was very good. Found the Ischia busses very easy to catch whether travelling clockwise or anti clockwise. Once you have your bearings this is easy. Also, from the hotel, you can walk down to the beach which, in March, was lovely and quiet. A very good restaurant there that was open (Il Panino). From the beach (Citara) you can walk along the coast road into Forio which is very pleasant and about 25 minutes. Recommend having a mooch around Forio.

Very very very slow internet, all bath articles very cheap, including towels, and people at the desk not so sensitive to the 4 star treatment, I’m sorry of it sounds too picky. And again, the island and the location are AWESOME. Locals also ver friendly, and local restaurants (Forio) very very good!

Currently staying at Sorriso Therme in a room in the off site accommodation. It is excellent and we have a massive balcony from which we can see the main hotel and pool area. The breakfast has a great selection of continental and hot food on offer buffet style. All the staff are very helpful and speak English very well. The dinner is 4 courses which you pre order at breakfast time so dinner service is quick and efficient. We used the spa and had the spa area to ourselves which was excellent and made us feel very safe from the threat of Covid. You can hire wonderful toweling gowns for use around the pool and spa. Covid precautions are adhered to but it doesn’t spoil our enjoyment in fact it makes you feel very comfortable and safe. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and you can travel all around the island very easily I have to say reading some of the earlier reviews I can’t understand the complaints people made because our experience had been excellent
