Moral’s lodge is convenient to local cafes and bars and also the locks where we enjoyed watching the boats in the morning. We had dinner at the lodge and it was excellent. Couldn’t fault it. So fresh and home cooked. Highly recommend eating there. Breakfast also very good. Rooms and bathroom very clean.

Morag's Lodge is everything you could ever want from a hostel. We arrived cold and wet after a long day's ride and Morag's was everything we needed. The room was perfect, they did our laundry, had drying space for sodden gear and the food & drink at their restaurant & bar totally hit the spot. Very highly recommended!

The staff are helpful & friendly, location great if you want to explore Fort Augustus & the surrounding area, & the total cost is bearable compared to other local accommodation options, but TripAdvisor said I needed to make this longer, which is ridiculous

Very nice place to stay, friendly and helpful people holding the place Nicely appointed place in a lovely location offering some basics in case of Large car park in situ Nice kitchen and they even do the washing up! Located near the Ardvreck castle which I wanted to visit

Well organised, friendly and helpful staff, good value. Had to sleep in a six bed dorm as single rooms booked up. Other guests were considerate, worked out ok. Low level snoring.breakfast was fine. Goodness it’s a pain that trip advisor require 200 characters, won’t do this again!

Its been 3 years since i last stayed here and it seems to improve with time; I will return if in the area. A friendly, clean well organized comfortable hostel with everything one would need. Location is ideal for exploring and staff very helpful and friendly. You couldn’t ask for more!!!

Great location. Warm welcome and helpful staff. Good room and comfy beds. Lounge and bar areas pleasant and comfortable. Packed lunch good value. Breakfast ok, but budget quality cereals and bread. Single chef struggling to keep up with demand. Evening meal not great. Burger ok but oven chips very poor. Advertised as big portions but definitely not.

Nice hostel, great breakfast (£6 for continental style breakfast, eggs, porridge, tea, coffee), cool bar (with good whisky options) and helpful staff. Located on the great glen way in Fort Augustus, easy to find. Clean room, comfy bed and good self catering facilities.
