Maritime Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruiseport

We stayed there the night before our cruise and it was a perfect location between the ports and dining areas.

The property is dated and needs updating. The staff are amazing, willing to go above and beyond to make your stay great!

The property is tucked away between a few streets and close to a bridge so GPS was definitely required to find the entrance a few times but is located in a quiet area. I needed to find a spot that had a charger for my car that is not a Tesla. I had no problem finding parking but only by luck on the first night could I secure a spot at a charger. The security which walked around should ask vehicles that were not charging to not park there given it’s limited and there were other spaces available. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was soft. In terms of services it would be good if the TV offered visitors to rent movies even if at a fee. Only local cable provided. Also when I called on the day of my checkin to let them know I was arriving late at 10pm I called no less than 7 times to speak to someone from 5pm to 10pm I never got a hold of anyone and or it kept picking up and hanging up. When on hold it should allow you to be directed maybe to a national number or leave a message. I would stay at this location if I need to stay in the Ft. Lauderdale area again.

Comfortable, modern rooms convenient to all we wanted to see and do. Very accommodating and professional staff.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, even let us have late check out to catch our cruise in the early afternoon. Only complaint was the pillows which were thin and hard. Great seafood restaurant Redezvous at the marina down the road from the hotel. Had dinner and breakfast there.

Booked standard balcony room and they decided to give us handicapped room without a balcony. Not happy.

The hotel was great we stayed for 6 days. The rooms are exactly like the pics. The food at the hotel bar was amazing. Staff very friendly. Only down side there’s nothing around there too walk to. No publix or Walgreen’s or restaurants had to Uber everywhere..

The sharks and other fish in the aquarium in the lobby is very nice. As well as the breakfast was very good. Now I didn’t like how room 707 phone didn’t work and how the shower drain gave a foul smell.

close to cruise port but lacked on local shopping within walking distance.
