I spent $644 on a 2 night stay here and was completely hoodwinked. The 1 bedroom oceanfront suite with a queen sofa bed that should have been roughly 1100 sq. ft was not what I was given. They had, without reaching out to me, downgraded my room to a studio because they were "over sold" by *******. I doubt ******* would do that since I've never encountered this issue before. The next morning I go to speak with the manager but they were unavailable. The front desk receptionist was actually the best part of the trip, she was very warm and knowledgeable. She was able to switch me into a suite but did not have any of the more expensive larger suites available that I had purchased. Instead I got a smaller suite with a die view of the beach. I should mention that I only picked this place because of the Ocean view suite so that I could watch the sun rise over the horizon. This room, of course, was not facing the east. Both room had cleanliness issues and equipment issues such as broken microwave, broken coffee maker, slow draining shower. On top of all this, instead of actually paying me back the difference in the rooms and making it right with how this affected my trip, all I got was a measley 1 night resort fee removed. It was $45 that got removed from my bill is all.also, I got charged an additional $460.00 on the first night for some "glitch" in the routing or sonething that was supposed to drop off already but as of 09:15pm, it's still sitting there since Tuesday night. 0 stars.
