When I booked, the desk said there was a complimentary shuttle to the seaport which was 3 miles away. I confirmed twice. After checking in, I asked about it and he said fake news. I thought it was a joke but it was serious.

This is a different kind of property, so one must adjust expectations. It's more of a 1-bedroom condo with very basic but nice furnishings. The important stuff is there: comfortable king bed, big screen in the living room, basic couch, large shower with shower condiments. The kitchen is a plus for longer stays, and it's pretty well stocked with utensils and basic appliances. The building itself is older (maybe 80's or early 90's), and I'm sure was originally apar**ents. So, rather than your traditional "hotel," this property is comprised of several 2-story buildings with condos. Desk staff was very kind and professional, did a good job explaining the concept of the property and what to expect, as well as local restaurants, market, etc.

I stayed in a queen studio and the bathroom was very old and outdated. The shower was gross. There were limited outlets (1 on each side of the bed and only one in the bathroom). There were no hangers in the closet and only one hook in the bathroom so there was no where to hang towels or swimsuits to dry. I will say that the staff were friendly and helpful. Fresh linens were always provided. The resort/hotel is pretty laidback which is nice and you’re able to use hot tubs at other hotels in the area for no extra charge. Best part is that it is only 2 blocks from the beach!

The room was newly renovated and clean. Exterior of the property including the pools need a lot of work. Very old and not maintained.

While the location, layout, facilities and cleanliness were top notch, I arrived after dark to no one in the office. After 2 phone calls, someone came over from the main office. Would have been nice to have this info in the welcome email.

It was perfect for waiting to get on a cruise , the li action was perfect for area, close to beach.

Love the Florida east-coast motel style. Thank you, it was a short 1 night stay but really appreciate.

Do NOT recommend! VERY HARD to get in contact with someone. You have a main office that NEVER has a single person in it, so you have to push a video doorbell button that then promises someone is coming. But don’t take that as a promise because sometimes they will & sometimes they just won't. They also do not have a direct phone call line. They have a service line that deals with multiple locations. We had several issues at this hotel. The first room was full of cockroaches, I literally found the first one crawling up to me when I was laying in bed reading a book. Then I found another when I went to use the restroom so I called the office. They said “someone will be out.” After 45 minutes I again call the service number and they assure me again someone would be out, mind you it is now almost midnight. Someone showed up 20 minutes after that asking for “proof” which luckily I recorded these bugs because how rude is that! I didn’t save them to show someone!!!! BUT I did have videos LUCKILY! Then they offered us a new room so then we had to wake up our kids and move rooms in the middle of the night. The next room was a bit cleaner, no signs of bugs but we all woke up SWEATING. So I called the service number as we were leaving because we couldn’t breathe in our room. After 3 phone calls (which I have screen shots of all of this,) and 6 hours later, we were allowed to return to our room. We were offered absolutely nothing for these issues! The manager is still yet to call me back!
