What a gorgeous property surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains. The rooms are beautiful and the gardens are so peaceful. Lisa was great with all of our needs with some great food recommendations. And all the staff were friendly and helpful! Thank you!

My husband and I were so lucky to be able to spend 2 nights at La Cabriere Country House. The place is really beautiful with Mountain Views, gorgeous gardens and 2 swimming pools. The host Lisa kindly upgraded us to the honeymoon suite because we were the only people there for the first night. She also had a special table set up for us to be able to look out & enjoy the mountain views at breakfast. Lisa was a wonderful host so friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for anything more!

A very nice place to stay, just wish there was a bar for the evening. Super views and grounds plus the breakfast was very nice. Very attentive service and lots of place to sit outside and very well appointed rooms - would definitely stay again.

The wife and I truly believe that this boutique hotel and its breathtaking mountain views are among the top 5 estates in Franschhoek - The property is a mere 1.5km from the town's, main road and a nice walk for those who enjoy being surrounded by nature - All the rooms and suites are far above the average size and individually furnished - The views remind of villages in Switzerland - The property has a world class botanical garden, likely the most beautiful in Franschhoek - It is near most of the top wine estates and eateries - Our Host, Lisa left a lasting and memorable experience - The lady is exceptional in more ways than one and committed to exhaust all avenues to ensure the utmost satisfaction of all guests - The property is safe and extremely neat and the attention to detail should impress just about all - This is a must visit for at least 3 nights when in Franschhoek - Well done Lisa - Will highly recommend to all.

We stayed at La Cabriere for 3 nights in September 2009. The location is great - just outside of Franschhoek to be away from the hustle and bustle, but near to lots of great restaurants. The views from the hotel are absolutely amazing and the breakfast and the service were also first class. Katie was so welcoming and helpful - she was there to cater to our every needs, booked our restaurants etc, and this really made our stay easier. One thing we would say is that we felt the room furnishings and bathroom were a little dated, slightly shabby and we found the bathroom toiletries weren't replaced when we had used them, which would have been nice. Other than that, it is really good value for money, in what is an expensive area.

What a lovely beautiful country home! Very peaceful with 2 swimming pools and stunning Mountain View’s. A delicious breakfast served every morning with views of the valley and gardens. Rooms have their own patios overlooking the gardens and/or pool. Excellent value for money with a lovely host and friendly staff.

The lovely garden and the mountains that surround this property are incredible. The pools are a fair size and the breakfast is really good. I really liked the fact it was so peaceful out in the garden and you could hear the wind whirling around and the birds singing. Perfect on a summers day. The location was great and the property is incredibly well managed by the lovely Lisa. It was a pleasure having a chat with her each day.

From the outset this was a good experience. Even when the booking had to be changed, it was effortless and easy. On arrival we were welcomed and shown around the grounds and then to our stunning studio which was home for a couple of days. Lisa is on top of her game Present at all times and most helpful. To top all of this the breakfast is an absolute 10/10. Would highly recommend this as a top destination.
