ザ フレッド - アダルト オンリー(The Fred - Adults Only Hotel)

為了看日落選擇了西岸這家小酒店，從機場打車來每人15美金。前台在靠街的殖民地風格漂亮小房子一樓，兼賣紀念品，接待的女士人很好。房間一般，有酒吧和餐廳可以吃飯。沙灘和日落太美了，海水清澈。

Decent hotel and rooms, but they blatantly overcharged me and won't do anything about it. When I booked, due to availability, I had to get one room that was more expensive, the Ester. When I arrived, I was initially given the keys to 4105 and 4104. When I asked which one was the Ester, the front desk employee realize that neither one was, and gave me the keys to 4103 instead of 4105. I walked into 4103 to find a terrible odor, an unmade bed, lights that didn’t work, etc. I went back to the front desk to explain and then she switched 4103 back to 4105. I said that’s fine as long as I get a credit back for the difference I had paid for the more expensive room, Ester, that I didn’t get. She seemed agreeable. I feel it would be plenty reasonable to be asking for more than this since the room I ended up in had several issues (the biggest being that the drinking water dispenser doesn’t work). I reported this and they brought me a few water bottles. After one day, I was back to having no drinking water, and it was never replenished. Despite the other issues, all I’m asking for is a credit for the amount that I was overcharged for a room I never got. I submitted this request and got no response.

I arrived a day late, thanks to the airline. Because of this, The Fred decided to upgrade my room! Delia, who was working the front desk when I arrived, took the time to explain the amenities and also walk me to my room. The staff was great, the vibe was very relaxed. I’ll stay at this hotel again if I go back to St. Croix, and I’m already thinking about going back!

Super slow service for an almost empty restaurant, but I’d go back for “The Fred” big bacon cheeseburger with an over easy egg on top. I am low carbing so no bun. No sides. Great setting. I found out later from the bartender that my server had gone home sick.

My mom and I took a trip to the Fred during my spring break, and it did not disappoint! The hotel was very clean and had all the amenities we needed- including an on site bar. The staff were all amazing and very welcoming. The weather was always beautiful, and we were never bored! If you want to meet amazing people and enjoy a relaxing vacation in paradise, the Fred is the way to go!

Beware! This hotel can't be the same hotel TRIPADVISOR awarded best hotel 2023. Not a place I would return to or recommend. Experienced a leak from the ceiling, in-room safe never worked nor was a repair attempted when reported, no cable TV, and little to no Wifi for the entire time of our stay. A $25 certificate was given upon arrival which doesn't cover the inconvenience of not having services as advertised. Restaurant provided limited offerings as menu items were regularly not available. There were some staff that seemed genuinely wanting to provide a decent level of service however, with the state of disrepair and overall lack of investment by ownership to maintain the property properly the staff are climbing a steep hill.

We went to the bar to get some drinks. Sat at our table for 30 minutes with no service. They were not busy. My husband went up to the bar to order and the bartender said “we’re switching bartender comes on shift.” So she had seen us but was waiting for the next shift to take care of us. We enjoyed the view and waited for the next bartender. When he came on shift my husband went to the bar again and stood there for five minutes. The bartender did not once look his way or acknowledge his presence. We walked out and went next door to Nacho and Louis. Sat down and within a couple minutes had a server at our table. Drinks in less than 10. Really cute hotel and bar area, but the least attentive service at any bar or restaurant just about anywhere I’ve been. Would not recommend.

We stopped for lunch before our flight home. Sat on the deck close to the beach. There were "car/jet ski" rentals going on, so it was quiet entertaining! Salad & wings were great! Fast service & bonus rain shower to remind us that that's why the island is soo green!

I love the vibe of Frederiksted in St. Croix - unpretentious, quiet and laid back. The Fred used to exude the peacefulness and informality of its surroundings - on the water just a few blocks from the central part of town. Locals love to sit at the bar next to the attractive infinity pool and watch the sunsets. But unfortunately a change of ownership has left the property poorly maintained and poorly managed. There is little left of its prior allure - the rooms leak when it rains (our room was flooded for two days and was offered no compensation for the inconvenience), there is a shortage of towels, the service is uneven, the staff overworked and unhappy, and the restaurant food mediocre and in short supply. Come enjoy a drink at the bar but find another place to stay! The Fred is overpriced and hardly the exclusive resort for which it bills itself.
