Stay away been to this hotel and had the worst experience in my entire travels.. Food is terrible The beach is filthy The managers are useless The staff are not trained A total riff off hotel I would call this a cheap holiday In hotel Definitely would not recommend and keep anyway away .. 5 star is a joke

We had a fantastic stay at Amelia Durrës, we especially loved the sports bar in the evening. The staff were super friendly, especially Albert in the sports bar who made us feel very welcome and took good care of us. The best Espresso Martinis!!!

Disappointing stay overall. No heated pools including kids pool (not suitable for 10 month baby!), staff not very helpful and somewhat rude, aircon in room didn’t work for duration of stay, food in buffet was absolutely vile - appeared to be repeated from lunch to dinner, stale, hard, chewy meat / fruit and salad was not fresh. For a Melia hotel, this specific one lets down the brand. Looking at the hotel - lovely, aesthetically pleasing, clean and tidy but what’s inside is another story. We stay at the Melia brand a lot (in particular ME) so I understand the levels of each group within Melia but this was overall disappointing.

Beautiful resort with amazing view. Delicious foods and good service. The staff in restaurant was very friendly helpful and very polite. Big, nice and very clean room and the pools too, everything was perfect I will come back again for sure!

My experience at Melia is fantastic, everything was perfect. Especially in the Plaza Bar, the cocktails made by Klaudio are at a level out of this world. The place is very well decorated and I will be back again with my friend to try other cocktails in the summer

we loved the hotel rooms the pools the restaurant's the outdoor area the spa it was one of the best hotels. we were there on Easter monday and Easter sunday we enjoyed it very very much. This was my first time in Albania and l felt in love with Melia Durres. Kids friendly, great welcome and the hotel is state of the art. Jonida & Iris from the restaurant merkado were great. Sorry l lost the names of the personal trainers, two ladies at reception and shout out to staff in kids club. I love the swimming both indoor and outdoor, the beach and l managed to eat on all the restaurants 🥰. I was celebrating my kids birthday's and there were complimentary cakes which were arranged 😍. Music at evening. I also liked that even when staff are getting difficult to understand English, they use Google translator so that they make sure you get the service. I really enjoyed it and l am willing to become brand ambassador of such a place.
