Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there. Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

Good location, walking distance to lots of places in Galle. Suite was amazing (upgrade due to honeymoon), comfortable bed, spacious, efficient laundry service. Food was very tasty, very large breakfast that could never finish. Dinner was lovely too. Happy hour each day was a nice touch, sitting in the courtyard having a couple of drinks. Staff very friendly and helpful, couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.

Wonderful hotel in a truly special setting, but the real stars were the staff who were friendly and approachable whilst also being very efficient. The service was simply the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you all.

Visited the restaurant for dinner with my wife and young family and had a fantastic experience! Despite a last minute mix up with a reserved table! The staff were brilliant and more than made up for it with generous service throughout the meal. The food was fantastic and the kids were totally catered for with more western dishes. The restaurant and hotel space are very grand and stylish with chilled vibe.

We spent only 1 night in a suite in this lovely hotel in Galle - it was by far the best hotel on our trip around Sri Lanka. The staff - no matter at which area - was remarkable friendly and motivated, the food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and the room (suite) was more than comfortable with the huge bathroom and the excellent bed. Furthermore, the location inside the old fort walls is perfect for walking around and enjoying the atmosphere in the historical part of Galle. We can only recommend to stay longer in this hotel to explore the city in a relaxed ways.

Booked for 4x nights and knew from the moment we arrived that it was going to be a treat. Easy check in and really appreciated the information on our 'package', which included afternoon tea and happy hour. The hotel is beautiful, with various seating areas. The bedrooms were large and airy, with all the usual facilities. Fresh water left in our room everyday. Breakfast was delicious from varied menu options. Great location for walking around Galle and recommend the free guided walk available. What really sets it apart are the staff. Professional, but friendly without being over familiar and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you.

Such a lovely building. An old merchants house within the fort walls. 20 very spacious rooms. Complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour (free beers, cocktails and wine) for guests during the afternoon. Plus, complimentary guided tour. Centrally located. Lovely peaceful areas to sit and relax. Here 4 nights but onky ate once here but that was lovely food. No pool but Unawatuna beach only a short tuk tuk ride away (which was great fun in itself). And all the staff were so friendly and chatty with always a big smile whatever the time of day. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I came here for lunch with my family and the food is simply delicious and so scrumptious. The staff are friendly and the presentation of food is very good. The pad thai is delicious, so is the butter chicken, as well as the brownie. The atmosphere is calm and soothing. I am definitely coming back 😍
