booked online for a king, at check in staff was a bit rude and told us they only had a double available. room was a bit dirty. remote for tv didnt work. never got wifi password and when tried to call front desk, phone was disconnected. in a weird area but not too far from downtown.

To many people living there vert loud had to leave 5 hours after check-in asked for refund and was told no not even an offer to move rooms my safety was a concern so i left to find a new place at 9 pm

The black lady from customer service night shift is a animal, she supose to work picking strawberry in a field alone, she is terrible for customer service . She need to be fired

It was hard to locate the front office. There should be big signs outside the office pointing the way. The lady at the front desk who checked me in seemed rude, as if I am inconveniencing her. The morning lady who checked me out was nice. The fridge and microwave were cleaned with pinesol & smelled so strongly of chemicals even after I aired them out, that I was unable to use them. The parking lot had big puddles of water and smelled of sewage at night. The bath tub was dirty, the shampoo bottle and conditioner bottles were half used, and I’m pretty sure the bedsheets weren’t changed. When I lied down, my body started itching. Also the tv remote took pressing really hard to change channels. Maybe the staff need to be taken to other hotels to demonstrate what the standard should be. The whole place reeked of neglect and poor management

The building is old and it shows! But besides that, our bathroom was dirty from the moment we got there. The tub evidently had body residue that could come off had it been cleaned. The whole building smells like cigarettes and the last two nights our room smelled like gas. The bed was uncomfortable and only 3 pillows for a room that is supposed to sleep 4.

The room was really outdated and so was the tv! The room seemed like it needed more then just paint job! The bed was really uncomfortable and i should’ve known it was gonna be bad for the price i paid!

The price was very reasonable, the room.was very clean and the service was wonderful

We waited over 45 minutes for a dirty room! First told no reservation, but staff hadn't even looked! We arrived 30 minutes prior to shift change; staff wouldn't to check us in claiming no rooms. Conveniently a room was ready as soon as the next shift finger counting their change drawer. That is some serious shady customer service! Explained my dissatisfaction for wait to incoming staff & they were extremely rude. Overall we were treated as though we inconvenienced them! There were 5 parties when I arrived. Two were helped as soon as they walked in - no questions asked. Three others like us, forced to wait extensively long time. Finally get into our room & building is unsecure! They don't lock exterior doors!! Toilet had dried urine all over it, the floor hadn't been swept or mopped, not enough pillows, no breakfast served the next morning, no coffee service in room - wasn't restocked! The paint on the back of the bathroom door was bubbling and peeling. No hairdryer but had iron and ironing board - made no sense to me. EconoLodge is usually a less than quality chain. Most of my experiences are just like this one. Never complained on this stay because I'm sure manager is the one that checked me in. Probably contracted Hep C from this stay... that's how gross it felt. Spend the money and go somewhere else! I got LESS than I paid for. Overpriced for the quality.
